I just got Astonishing X-Men and I think it is one of my favorates of reloaded. I read it and loved it page by page. I remember reading the previews and thinking I'd be let down but I loved it. I originally thought that I'd think Kitty was too young but I don't. I love Logan's entrance and how

he and cyclops had a fight over the Jean and emma situation. I also love how it was beast who repremanded them. The new villain seems interesting and the last words of the comic got me curious. And finally the two page splash of them walking to the blackbird is wonderful

I don't think much of that was spoilers but I thought I'd black it out anyway, just in case.

So now that everything has been reloaded thinking back I can't say i'm disappointed in anything. I'm still only 'ok' with Mystique and Emma Frost. I find both of their books slow and boring. I keep thinking that Mystique will grow on me so I keep collecting but eventually I may cut it. I also keep in mind that in the beginning I heard that Emma Frost will catch up to current continuity but it is seriously dragging right now. It's in the second arc and I know the next one is about college. I think I'll be okay once the hellfire club comes into play but I just hope it hurry's and gets here. Does anyone know how this title's doing in sales?

But overall I'd say that Reloaded has been great and I'm okay with the switch in teams. I love Beak on Exiles, I just hope that they touch on Angel's reaction with his leaving and I hope that in time he will make his way back home. I love the idea of Dust and Josh Guthrie on the New Mutants, with the possibility of other of Morrison and Austen's students later becoming a factor. I love Rachel Summers' addition to the team and I'm happy to finally see Sage and the rest of the X-treme team back to official X-Men roster. And I have been pleasently surprised at the endings of every title. The only thing I really don't like but can grow to is the whole Emma Scott thing.

I got Uncanny X-Men #445 today and I gotta ask, did anyone else laugh when Cannonball started saying "I love you mama." I chuckled when he started with that.

I really enjoyed the most recent issue of New X-Men: Academy X (issue 3). I just read it and I think for the first time I really like some of the Hellions! I love Rockslide and Mercury,.. but mostly Rockslide. At first I figured him a Thing ripoff but now that I know he can shoot his limbs at others it makes it kinda cool. Plus now he has personality. Also I liked how Emma says she can see a leader in Julian. I'm curious if they're going to play him up to be a big time baddie or if he's going to later join the team and become a front runner? I like the idea of him training under the Institute and later leaving, perhaps joining the brotherhood. We'll see.

I liked this back when it was New Mutants but felt that it would fissel into limbo and the characters would result in nothing, but now I'm really getting that Generation X feel. I can see some of these characters now sticking around and maybe even joining the x-men. So I think my favorate character is David. So what do you all think of the future of this title and its characters?

I think this title is good but I can't see any of the characters becoming X-Men. I mean with Generation X and the original New Mutants I could see it but not here.

I can see it but I think they'll need some further developments first. Maybe one could but I'd like to think more would go on to other teams. Like how Monet is on the X-Corporation. I am actually surprised how many Gen Xers have become X-Men: Chamber, Husk, and Jubilee. I expected Synch to at first but then he died and that sucked.

David reminds me of Synch and maybe that's why I like him. I think he'd be a great X-Man but I think they're playing up Sophie to be X-Men material. She is similar to Storm but what makes her differant is that she's using her wind powers in ways differant than Storm has, such as giving someone windburn and such. Josh and Kevin are the wildcards at the moment so I don't know what their future may hold.

And on that note I am very happy to see Kevin back. He was my favorate in New Mutants in the first arc and then he just left. He's got a good heart but a darkside that trying to come out and that could become quite interesting in future storylines. ANd now we have our token X-love triangle with Kevin, Laurie, and Josh. Well, I guess Rahne would make it a square, but I don't see that bit lasting long.

Well I guess I saw Gen X becoming X-Men because I read it after Husk, Jubes and Chamber joined. And the New Mutants were supposed to take over. These kids are just students and maybe I just see them staying to teach.

I read Gen X from day one in the Phallanx Covenant. I always figured Jubilee would go back and maybe Husk would join but Chamber was a shock for me. Even moreso that he was the first to join them. The only one I thought would was Synch and he's dead, and now that Skin is dead the only real Gen Xers that haven't joined is Penance and M and personally I'd say they'll probably fall into comic limbo.

Here's how I compare the characters of Acadamy X to Gen X:

Okay I just got Astonishing X-Men issue three. I am going to talk about it but I will tell you now that there is going to be a spoiler spoken. Just a warning as I will try to cover it up with spoiler tags but the subject of the topic will probably give away what I refur to:

Okay first off I loved the issue. I absolutely loved the Beast Vs Wolverine fight. I liked seeing Beast cut loose and personally I'd like to see him whipe the floor with Wolverine but I figured it would be stopped short. I liked the Cyclops/Fury conversation and I really get the idea this is going to evolve into something big. But lastley I'm a little annoyed with the ending,

now i respect anything that comes out of an x-book and I excepted quickly that idea that Magneto came back because I like the idea of him working with Xavier, but now it seems they are bringing back Jean too! Now I expected this of course but no so soon!

I'll let it play out and I'll probably love it but I have to say I'm a bit hesitant at the moment. The only thing I really look forward to in this is

seeing emma having to deal with Jean face to face reguarding Scott. My prefrence would be for Jean to hook up with Hank and Scott rejecting Emma and going solo for once. But we'll see how this all plays out.
