yeah, TTT was the best Tekken game when it was released. Im surrpised that it never got a sequel. The game is pretty rare, but Id love to play it again

Seeing the Rage system in action, I doubt it will change the pace of the game but will lead to a LOT of WTF(!) moments. Love Hwoarang's new Flamingo Upper, hate the bare body look...noticed that Hwoarang's graduated to some Baek type moves. No sweeps that I've seen so far. Bob looks actually, pretty fun to play. King's as tough as ever it seems:

King's awesome. I've been put in that Rolling Death Cradle of his enough times to appreciate it's magnificence.

I could NEVER pull off a multiple-grab. Nina's chain combo was the only one I got down. I'm more of a Fakie-player myself which is why I prefer players like Hwoarang and Lei but I'm definitely giving Zafina a twirl. Some guy on youtube mentioned her style is based on an Indian Martial Art, I'm already sold on that.

You mean King's multiple throw move?That is annoying..but something similar to that..can anyone perform one of those 10 hit combos?Every character has one..but do you actually use them?

I know Anna's and Steve Fox's. I used to know Paul's, but that's been lost to the ages. Breaking out those 10 hitter's can be a jugglers dream if you know what you're doing. Especially Lee's.

The pattern are there so it isn't that hard to remember a 10-hit combo. In adition to King's two 10-hit combos, King has about three variations of what I call "Chain grabs" were you need to input the right commands while yourin your initial hold. Pretty badassed. But I've played against so many Kings over the years I can break the chain mid-way before the major damage is done like the Chain which ends with the Big Swing

I've learned to break them as well, but if you don't get out in the first two to three movies, you may as well put down the joystick, cuz you're going for a ride.

Tell me about it. On top of being a relatively fast character, King ain't no push over when it comes to the combos. High damage, great speed, awesome slams...King's a monster. To be fair, most of the Tekken 1 characters have a slight advantage over their later counterparts...Marshall Law being the worse of the lot.

Yeah, grab breaks is what I love about Tekken. Makes the game feel all the more fluid while DOA's countergrabs (which happens alot) are way too strong that they dictate the gameplay. Great grab breaks or "throw offs" could lead to solid chances.

Everyone seems to prefer Armour King over your ordinary garden variety King. Me, I prefer my fast, many-combo-ing jugglers.

Armor King? Yeah he's a fast combo-er but he lacks King's superslams and some moves leave him way open (Shoulder ram, AK Upper). Lots of King vs Armor King match, between players of similar Caliber, usually ends with King winning. There's just ALOT more to do with King and his 140+ movelist.

I've been playing a lot of Tekken 5 DR recently.

It's taking me forever to get past the Deity rank.

My favorite fighters are Kazuya Mishima and Bryan Fury.

There's something i've been meaning to ask.Is Tekken 5 DR avalable for the PS2?Because i only see it for the PSP,even though there is the regular Tekken 5.

It's only on PSP and PS3. (And it's much better on PS3 cuz they finally got online play. The slow down sucks, but still, it's about effin' time.)

I can see why though. As compared to DOA where its not really a fighting game but a cheap tit show slapped together with some overpowered reversals, Tekken has more pace to adapt to the depth. As for Virtua Fighter 5, its pretty obvious that someone in Sega is giving Sony the stinkeye.

The PS3 Tekken 5, does that also include Tekken, T2 and T3 like the PS2 one?

Nope, only Tekken 5 Dar Resurrection. They come in two varieties, Online and Regular. T5DR Online removes Story Mode so you don't get to watch endings and cutscenes. Regular is pretty much Tekken 5 but with the DR characters. I think in place of T1,2 and 3 there's Tekken Bowl though I'm not sure whether thats just for the PSP.
