Well, the guy, like a lot of gay men, is in denial. Something he needs to work on. Maybe sleeping with one guy you could shrug and say, "Hey, maybe he was just curious." However, three different guys he obviously ENJOYED something about it.

The funny thing is, the friend of mine who finally revealed it to me hooked up with him again a few months ago.

And in our friendship group, being gay is NOTHING to worry about. 2 of the guys in our group are gay (and totally not camp), and quite a few have had 'experiences'.

No one would bat an eyelid if he came out.

But he's too into his own percieved persona as a ladies man, a flirt, an alpha male. He can't accept being a gay man.

Though I must say, I was an idiot too.

One of them told me, and I didn't want to believe it. I confronted him, and he told me so heartily that it wasn't true and the guy was just trying to get between us.

I KNEW it was true, but I so badly didn't want it to be that I stayed with him.

It was only AFTER I dumped him one night because he'd made me wait three hours in a pub on my own while he was round at this older womans house and then strolled in drink with her in tow.

A week after that, one of my best friends broke down crying and revealed the truth that he'd slept with him, in the same bed we slept in, a WEEK before I lost my virginity too him.

I doubt he even changed the sheets

I see. I have a good friend who, drunkenly, admitted he experimented with a guy. His exact words, "If you are ever thinking about hooking up with a guy...DON'T! I tried it...it's horrible!"

I know a few gay people and hang out with them on occasion. One is no different than a straight guy...considering we talk about football. However, the other gay guy I've hung out with is into gardening and dancing. So, we don't have much in common other than growing up together.
