That's the 2nd highest RT percentage an MCU movie has had after the first 100 reviews were in. Other MCU movies that were at 90+ after the first 100 reviews:

Iron Man: 96
The Avengers: 94
Captain America: Civil War: 94
Spider-Man: Homecoming: 92
Captain America: The Winter Solider: 91
Doctor Strange: 91

Thor: Ragnarok is being released outside of the US in many countries first, and usually movies that are released outside of the US first drop a bit more than those that are released simultaneously. On average, MCU movies that were released in many foreign markets one week before the domestic release have dropped 3% from their score after 100 reviews.

Good to know. I hope we end on at least 90% and 93% would be nice to beat out HC haha. I much preferred Ragnarok to HC.

Breezy, jokey, crammed with clever sci-fi ideas; the funniest MCU flick yet. Director Taika Waititi brings a new geeky verve we didn't realize the series needed.

Didn't notice we were over the 100 mark!

Most of the rottens really could be positive, definitely mixed rather than out right negative.

That Ragnarok can even be in the conversation for best Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is a major victory for Marvel Studios.

Not even when you responed to my post, which was about it reaching the 100 mark? :oldrazz:

Oh I thought that was just commentary you were doing anticipating the 100 mark! There is an icon at the beginning of the post that I can't see. Is that an image saying we got to 100? I'm gonna look daft if so but I can blame this computer. ;)

Has there been any properly bad ones?

Oh well that explains it, it's a picture of the RT score. Not sure why you wouldn't be able to see it.

Not really, all 5 rottens are more mixed than negative. They all said both good and bad things about it.

Yeah I can't see these on various devices, one phone and 2 computers (including work) but Ic an on another phone and a mac. Sometimes varies by browser too I think. Weird! And looks like I missed the official party. :csad:

Excellent!! It's a very good sign.

In its own weird little way, Thor: Ragnarok manages to poke fun at the constant churn of myth and entertainment of which the movie itself is a part. It's a candy-colored cage of delights, but it is a cage nevertheless - and it doesn't hide that fact.

The chances of finishing 90% plus and 7.4 plus are getting better.

The likely range is getting tighter for sure. Next target 150 reviews for roughly half way.

Reviews that I know of that qualify for rotten tomatoes, but haven't been added yet(beware, they contain spoilers):

Ben Skipper (International Business Times) (3.5/5)
James Hunt (DenofGeek) (3/5)
Sarah Watt (Stuff.co.nz) (3.5/5)
Michael O'Sullivan (Washington Post) (4/4)
Allan Hunter (Daily Express (UK)) (4/5)
Karen D'Souza (San Jose Mercury News) (3.5/4)
Anthony Morris (sbs.com.au) (4/5)
Joseph Walsh (CineVue) (4/5)
Eric Kohn (indieWire) B

All fresh.
Decent ratings amongst them too.

Feige wasn’t lying when he said this movie would do for Thor what Winter Soldier did for Cap.

I think the big 2 just became a big 3. Thor is so good here I think he could take the MCU by the scruff of the neck after A4 where one or both of Cap and Stark could be winding down (or dead :csad:).

Ragnarok also gives us a great Hulk,so we really got to see the Big 4 fully realized.

There is a guy on youtube who hated it and talked about how everyone who liked it is the problem.

Textbook narcissm

Yeah now that he can talk he can get involved in the conversations too to an extent.

Hopefully, this should keep it from dropping to 7.6.

Yeah overall that bunch of reviews should average out well.

It's incredible how the rotten reviews are basically mixed. The whole world is lauding the movie and Taika, and I still keep reading negative Italian reviews. Amazing.
