Purple Man said:Though he was often prone to overexaggeration, Clint felt as if all the eyes were on him to reveal his cards. Rolling the pick along his teeth, he revealed his cards. "Triple tens." The bastard two of clubs was dropped aside, he was almost upset for getting such a useless card. "King high." The king of spades was on one corner, balancing on the tip of his finger.
"Show me the good stuff, flat top. I know you're not going to let bayou Billy over here hustle you on your territory."
GAMBIT: Season 2 - Hawkeye Part 4
Feelings of both tension and pride smothered the gangster. His almighty hand placed his cards on the table and spread them out.
"One jack, two jack, three jack, four jack", he counted them out, whilst shrugging off the spare three of hearts. He sat back, awaiting the Cajun's retort. Gambit had cleaned up almost every hand so far, this one, hammerhead felt, was his.
"Fo Aces" The gloved hand spread out the cards for all to see. Hammerhead sat there. Silent. Stunned. Ready to explode. The agent, somehow, wasn't surprised.
Gambit scooped up the winnings into a duffel bag, a great smile reaching across his face. Then he picked up his deck and began to walk off. "Thank ya'll gentlemen"
WIth this, a great cause of motion errupted from the blue suited menace, he flung the table across the entire room, and brought his tommy gun to hand. His followers did the same.
"Both you scumbags have been hussling me, no-one hussles the hammerhead."
As the Cajun's ears pricked with sound of the lifting firearm, he spun and let lose a volley of four glowing pink cards. "I sed, fo aces!".
Just before the cards were touching his finely tailored suit, they detonated, sending hammerhead into the wall, and his tommy gun across the floor.
With this, gunfire exploded across the room from his men, aimed at both the southerner and the leather clad agent.
Dusting off his suit, the gangster rose to his feet. "Now you've gone and made me mad. But hey, it's your funerals."
