Still too soon to be absolutely certain.
And it's not the studio officially announcing it.

I guess they will move to a new studio?Yeah true but everything this last season screams finale and the fact that Marvel likes to do things in house they would depart from Film Roman so there is that possibility.

Looks to me like they are planning for a new season, or a spin-off show for the Thunderbolts+New Warriors
I don't know how I'd feel about it.How would you feel if the team that did Spectacular Spider-Man worked on this show and call it The Ultimate Spider-Man as he leaves S.H.I.E.L.D and goes back solo?
Yeah, I'd be on the fence about that too. It'd be like Christopher Nolan being brought on for a direct sequel to Batman & Robin. How would you feel if the team that did Spectacular Spider-Man worked on this show and call it The Ultimate Spider-Man as he leaves S.H.I.E.L.D and goes back solo?

... I couldn't resist takin' a look and you're RIGHT...Most of you won't like it, so you probably don't want to watch this clip.
If it's true and the show's finished, I'm glad.
Add to this that Greg Weisman has left Star Wars: Rebels and it gets me hopeful.....

Greg Weisman's left Star Wars: Rebels?![]()
Bitter Spectacular Spider-Man fans celebrating after the show became an even bigger hit, got a third season and 78 episodes...so I mean...whatever.
I personally am glad this show is nearing the end of its run because in my opinion, it has not lived up to what it could have been at all. I believe they could have approached it with a lot more intelligence and they would have had a show that would have been something both for the young kids and the established fans. The best shows in this realm are able to do that.
It shouldn't be hard with Spider-Man, either- he's already a great character and he doesn't need this reinvention idea that they approached this series with. One of the things going into this they've said is that they were making this Spider-Man as if he was just being introduced today for kids today. It just felt watered down from there because Spider-Man doesn't need to be re imagined as a bare bones Man of Action style protagonist for kids to like him. I guess what I'm saying is that it was the easy way option to take.
What not an opinion is that this show is a success and is the longest running animated Spider-Man show of all time.
This is wrong, though. It's only gone for two years. Spider-Man TAS went for 4.Regardless the show has had a good run and was a big success, after a miniscule amount of haters were crowing for cancellation and a return of Spectacular, which is impossible.
I'm not sure more intelligence means. What you believe is the best is still opinion at the end of the day. What not an opinion is that this show is a success and is the longest running animated Spider-Man show of all time.

unfortunately, USM has 78 episodes while TAS has 65 and SSM has 26... how bulls**t is THAT?!?
