That does sound pretty great Kane I think I will definitely pick up the first game and see what i think of it

I don't have a PS3 so I've never played Uncharted. But honestly, never really been clamoring to anyway.

What games are you into at the moment Darth

It's the only game (to me) that felt like playing an epic cinematic adventure film like Raiders. The cut scenes and the gameplay goes together seamlessly.

Raiders you say? I may have to buy this....

Yeah, here's some footage. (don't worry it's very early on in the game)

Sold. I'll buying this first thing Friday. Goddamn I love anything even remotely like the Indy films.

Yep being like the Indiana Jones films guarantees that this should be a pretty fun game

Okay that looks epicly epic  I have got to play that game thanks for posting this Kane :fhm:

i know its late but there are ****** characters....not every idea is a good one who the **** is waiting for an Angle Man ongoing or a Ambush Bug miniseries hell, Calculator didnt get interesting till he ditched the ****** costume and became the criminal version of Oracle

How would it be less annoying? Listening to Kratos grunt while pushing or pulling a puzzle box is just as annoying to me. Maybe they overplayed the panic bit but I have hopes for the game which is surprising since I've never actually played a single Tomb Raider game...ever.

It would probably be less annoying if they just didn't do it. I don't know why you mentioned Kratos, but that's annoying, too (though I don't remember him doing it that much). I don't need to really hear someone grunt and moan to know they're in danger. I think I get that by the fact that she's running away and the cave is collapsing all around, sometimes less is more. It's not a gamebreaker or anything, but I have to admit, I muted the MS conference near the end of the demo because it was getting on my nerves.

What are you talking about?

Yep I dont really see any point in having sounds like that in the game

Well theres the grunting and groaning, or there's the much cooler (and melodramatic) cries of otacon alternative. It's win, win!

But he did get good, did he not?

I've even seen a good Angle Man who went through a similar metamorphosis if I recall. Master criminal tactician. Because he can see all the angles, or something like that.

And if you don't like Ambush Bug, then you truly are dead inside.

Any character can be made to be worthwhile or compelling. All it takes is a spark of imagination from someone.

It started because Darth was complaining about the characters used in First Class, and I said how I didn't mind the characters used, they just coulda been used better, and things went from there.

Ah, okay. I didn't really mind them much, either. I didn't care for them much, but in the end, all the characters that got major exposure ended up being the ones I liked (Professor X, Magneto, Mystique, Beast, etc.).

For the best. Would you rather have characters you actually like standing around doing nothing for 2 hours?

Beast, Magneto, and Xavier made that movie for me. The rest of them I could take or leave. Some of them made me scratch my head, like Angel and Riptide (who could not be easily identified as Riptide at all, so I was like, "Why bother?"). But the movie overall was good, and that's really what matters most.

I thought Riptide was Whirlwind until a Skype call confirmed otherwise. I was all "ain't he an Avengers villain?" and "Whirlwind's a mutant?" and "why no buzzsaw bracers?"

Also, "these nachos are gross" but that's another issue.

For once, I liked Mystique for something other than my budding blue people fetish. It helps that Young Mystique had more dialogue in First Class than Old Mystique had across 3 movies combined.

Actually, Whirlwind is a mutant.

Oh, well. Those other thoughts still stand. Especially the nachos. Never get movie theater nachos.

That actually makes me think, but the whole no genitals, nipples or ass thing. Is that from the comics? I assume it isn't, since she actually wears clothes in the comics, but I always wondered why they did that in the films.

Isn't he the one who was always after Janet Pyms goodies?
