Clooney makes enough good non-comic movies that I've long since forgiven him for
Batman and Robin. Schumacher's still on the hook for it, though. Maybe O'Donnell, too.
Anyway, I'm watching
Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles because it showed up to stream on Netflix. I used to watch it in its crazy early morning time slot when it was on TV and it actually holds up after all those years. If you can get past the fairly primitive (but still pretty good in some places) CG animation, it's a nice blend of the
Starship Troopers movie and Heinlein's novel--by which I mean it took some character dynamics from the movie (i.e. Dizzy's a chick) and pretty much everything else from the novel, which was actually good. The propaganda bits are fun and the rest of the show is like a sci fi version of a WWII film.
