the unmasking thread

The Stan Lee written Aunt May would have had an instant heart attack and died if Peter told her that he was Spider-Man.

10. Something happens that will somehow make everyone forget that Peter and Spider-Man were ever one and the same, except they’ll remember that they did once upon a time did know or thought they knew, while Peter remembers everything.
Hey Wanda, we've got another job for you.

He could've softened it in a way that he'd be able to tell her. it's possible.

aunt may should just die already. her cookies probably arent any good anymore and all she does is funk spidey's groove...

i dont care if its an alt universe, id like to see a dark spidey, a batman like spidey taking it to the streets.

What I think is that He should've told Aunt May, Gwen, Any and all of his FRIENDS in the first place that he was spidey.
Stans Aunt May would have had a heart attack, and Gwen would have dumped him, broken his heart, and got the cops to arrest him for "killing" her dad, she hated spider-man

thats a great avatar by the way spiderboy. did you make that yourself? i love that song...

so you'd rather him lie to them? And they would've found out either way, it'd just be better if he told them instead of them finding out the wrong way.

yea but she loved peter....
.... exactly... but she was very "frail" in the silverage.. always in the hospital for one thing or another.. theres no way she would have survived.. shed be worrying left and right

Well Gwen never found out.. and that was her own mistake for sleeping with norman osborn.. sure peter could have told her... but she would have dumped him, and like i said he would have been arrested.. and she probably would have told the world out of her anger...

and the "new" aunt may, not stans frail version found out in a way where it worked.. and shes been an awsome supporting character sense.. not the frail dull may that use to be

He should've warned you what kind of reaction this statement would have wrought.

The statement, my friend, that you're EMO!!!

This post read so emo, seriously.

meh i didnt think so.. and dont really care... my avatar has heart.. its about losing someone you loved and making sure that doesnt happen to the person you love today..

My avatar has ass...its about a hot chick in spandex.

I think this unmasking thing could be really cool.
I loved how Aunt May discovered and how she reacted by trying to help Peter's image.

This could be the same thing, we won't really be able to tell how things will go until the whole Civil War thing dies down though. Lets see what Spider-man comics will be like in about five years.

Yeah, Daredevil thought so too...

I just don't think Spidey should've joined the pro-reg side period. In issue one of CW he's against it and in issue two he's taking off his mask in front of the whole freakin' world. BAH! :cmad:

Oh well, sucks for Spidey fans. Us Hulk fans have it made these days. :woot:

I sort of get why he might, he may he been against the whole registration thing from the beginning but he probably agrees with Iron Man that the civilians need to be protected. He probably felt a responcibility to them. Plus he sort of revealed his ID and sided with the registration for MJ and May, so that they would be protected.
