but THC has said that the final villan will only come into action during the film's fial momments. that could be harry for all we know so everything is speculation untill they tell us if there are 3 villans or two...

hell likely run off somewhere in order to preserve the chatracter for a later date. in any case. he isnt the major villan but the sub plot. especially if relationships between MJ/Gwen/Harry/Eddie (maybe) show up

im saying in all likelyhood hell have but a minor role. much like Ock hand but less so. itll be sandy's story and spidey coming in to stop him. nothing like sandy kidnapping MJ or something or terrozing his life. hes a B list villan and has no ties to peter. raimi also indicated that the relationships between peter MJ and the rest are the focus. topher will likely play a role in that.

I'm pretty sure Doc Ock had a fairly large role in SM2.

He's one of the first villains Spidey ever faced. He's only B-list to those who did not read the comics.

hes B list man. A list villands that attack spidey emotionally. sandman never did that to my knowledge. and fine. Ock had a large role in the film. but the core of the story was with MJ and Harry.. not Ock.. he only added to the plot

You're right - the core of the film involved MJ and Harry more than Ock....and I'm sure the same will ring true in this one, as well, no matter how many villains they toss in there...

On an emotional basis....okay, Sandman never got to Spidey.

But on a physical level....he's A-List, baby!

meh. id prefer if he didnt have any connection. i dont want him to be a friend or a distant relative. or harry's buisness partner's monkey's friend's brother. just a bad guy to take care of.

I think he will get connected to Harry. I'm hypothesizing that Marko is an imprisoned criminal who is given freedom in exchange for participation in an Oscorp experiment... that of course goes awry.
