A place to discuss the villains of the series. Who do you want to see? Who do you think we’ll see?

I’m excited for the Arrowverse to finally depict Gotham, and I hope we see a number of Batman villains. After all, Arrow hasn’t shied away from using Batman villains in the past. Supergirl has depicted a ton of Superman’s villains, and that’s worked well for them.

I am hoping they use Batwoman's villains like the DEO, Alice, the Religion of Crime, Medusa, Maro, Falchion, Weeping Woman, etc., especially as the main villains. I think they should leave the crossover villains with Batman to characters like Croc and Scarecrow, who have been used properly in Batwoman's books. I'd also really enjoy some of her character work from Bombshells, which could lead to something interesting like the Batgirls (not villains), and battling someone like Hugo Strange or using the Phantasm. Also Poison Ivy, as an enjoyable eventual comrade.

But know CW they will make her dad the big bad, teaming up with the Joker, Two-Face and the Penguin. Because they can't help themselves. :atp:

I think that Alice will be the big bad for the first season (if it gets past its pilot stage). However it wouldn't surprise me if her dad is a villain and a homophobic person as these CW shows (like Supergirl) have never been so... subtle about their political views.

Would definitely like the Weeping Woman if they're willing to have the outright supernatural on the show.

I think Weeping Woman would be cool. Nor should they shy away from anything supernatural, which makes me hope that they are setting her in SG's universe. For some reason, I feel anything supernatural will be more believable there.

But even if they don't start with Alice/Beth, I hope she is in there. It might be that they may only show her in flashbacks, especially if BW is already established in this universe. There have been a number of references already to the bats in SG, though we don't know yet if they mean Batman or Batwoman.

Is there any chance the Mr Freeze of this series is actually his wife seeking a cure for her husband who can't survive outside of sub zero temperatures?

How about suggesting the Joker was responsible for the Kane kidnapping?

Have Harley as an occasional nemesis for Kathy until she meets Joker and he almost kills her.

Reveal he wasn't responsible leading to the shocking revelation Scarecrow was hired to scare their mother so she would be institutionalised except it was Kathy's sister who went mad accidentally killing their mother.

This would eventually reveal her father was responsible, albeit didn't want to harm them only gain control over his wife's inheritance.

Alice is used to spark off rampages so their father's company can come in and clean up, however Gotham's Underworld isn't so easily fooled!

Sorry went a little too far there!

Have Shiva be a mentor to Kathy due to Batman introducing her?
She did train Bruce and could serve as a nemesis for the second season maybe she assumes command of the League of Assassin's and maybe she reveals Talia has kidnapped Bruce?

My top picks for villains I would like to see

Definitely include Red Claw!

Who would you fancy playing her?

Between two I fancy for Red Claw

Adrianne Palicki from AOS seems to me like she could be a good pick. We know she's capable in the martial arts department after seeing her previously on that and I think she just seems like a good actress.

Katheryn Winnick from Vikings, she's shown she's more than capable of conveying that fierce warrior woman.

Henry Cavills ex..Rhonda something?
You're thinking on Gina Carano, not sure how here acting chops would hold up from what little we seen in Deadpool 2 but she'd definitely have the physicality.
