I kinda wish they had a little montage of what happened to some of the characters split off from the group like Morgan and Duane doing stuff, the Morales family's fate, Walker Jim being a walker named Jim, the Vatos fate and Nervous Nelly the horse kicking Zombie butt and retaking the farm.

Yeah I remember them saying the Vatos would return or something so that makes sense....also when the camp is attacked by walkers in the episode Vatos Dale can be seen shooting is rifle at least twice at the attacking zombies and after that he was never really given the chance fight zombies before his death or I'm sure he would.

I had a feeling Dale might've used his rifle. B/c that would be odd that he'd never use it on the show. Pretty much everybody in Rick's group that made it to the farm (excluding Carol) have killed a walker(s). That missing/alternate ep. looks great from that trailer. Would love to finally see it. But in episode form not deleted scenes.

Yeah was hoping Carol would kill at least one walker with that piece of wood she picked up last episode but no still useless. While I hope it's in episode form I doubt the filmed the whole episode but if they did i don't see why the wouldn't show it as an episode.

Thinking about changing up my avvy to something from the Walking Dead. I'm thinking about either dead Shane or the poster image of Rick aiming his gun at Sophia.

One moment from the comics that doesn't involve the Governor/Woodbury that I'd love to see in S3 is [blackout]Rick beating the holy **** out of Thomas after he attacks Andrea. On the show, it'd be great if, as Rick is beating him, Lori tries to pull him off, and Rick is in such a blind rage mode that he shoves her to the ground. Then she gets that wide-eyed, holier-than-thou Lori look on her face and gets flashes of Shane beating the crap out of Carol's husband. She actually wasn't there for that, but so what...[/blackout]

They could show the flashback and green screen her in like Will Sasso in that episode of How I Met Your Mother. :oldrazz:

Prison will last for Two Seasons

http://thewalkingdeadpodcast.com/20...-prison-and-future-characters-comic-spoilers/

TVOvermind.com got a chance to sit down with Showrunner Glen Mazzara to talk a little about Season 3 and what we can expect to see done with the prison and what characters we can hope to see in Season 3.

Mazzara starts things off by talking about the prison:

“Right now, I do see that prison as a significant storyline for season 3 and season 4. I do think that’s a major storyline, and I know we were on the farm for longer than perhaps people wanted, there were reasons for that. I think what we want to do is make sure that that prison does not become claustrophobic. I think the farm played a little claustrophobic for people. Now that the entire landscape has fallen to the zombie apocalypse and zombies are literally at the gate of the prison, if you see in the graphic novel, that prison is a very, very small safe corner. There’s a lot of danger around, so we won’t feel like we’re bottled up in the same way that we were on the farm, in season 3. So, I do think that prison is a significant storyline, and we’re also interested in opening up the world. You know, The Governor has the world of Woodbury, there are other factors out there in the world, other groups, so I think that Rick’s group is really stumbling into this larger world.”

Mazzara then goes on to talk about future plans and characters for the show:

“There’s a lot of great material from the comic book, this show would have to go on 20 years to get to all of it. I think the Tyreese character is someone we’re interested in introducing at some point. We still have Morgan and Duane out there, from the pilot, we’re interested in them, and there’s new characters that will be original to the series, not coming straight from the comic books. I was telling someone yesterday, I think seasons 1 and 2 have been prologue, and now we’re hitting the ground running, and I see season 3 as resetting the show in terms of what I really hope it can be.

...idk with a lot of people not liking how long they stayed on the farm keeping them in one spot for 2 seasons might not be that good

But I'll wait and see

It was more the fact they didn't do anything.....the Prison is such a huge part of the comics alot of stuff happens I can see it lasting awhile.

The Farm arc in the comics was, what, 3-4 issues worth of story? Tops! The Prison was the setting for a good 30+ issues. I can see them making it last.

And it's not just the prison that last for two seasons, it's also Woodbury.

One thing I don't want to see happen in the show that happened in the comics:

Rick losing his hand

It's probably not gonna happen because they said that it would limit a lot of things for Rick. Even Kirkman said it.

Yeah, kirkman said thats his biggest regret

Omg you're joking right? Was this a recent interview?

It was on an episode of AOTS. He said he didnt think about how much harder it would make even the simplest tasks, like just buttoning your shirt. He also said it doesnt add enough character-growth wise to do it in the show.

You know what? I love the moment, but I'm not unwilling to part with it in the series.

However, I'll be offended if they cut anything of [blackout]Michonne torturing the Governor.[/blackout] :o

I don't give a **** how obscenely brutal it is, I ****ing want it! :cmad:

yeah, I want to see some ****ed up human on human violence. The only thing we've really seen in that regard is Rick killing Shane. I want to see how the zombie apocalypse has ruined some people's minds.

Like the telephone, or Ben and Billy. But I want the telephone mostly for the fact that it means [blackout]Lori has to die.[/blackout]

The telephone? I don't think I've gotten there yet.
