I was stunned to see Michonne. I stayed away from the spoilers so I didn't know that they'll introduce her now, and Rick's speech, damn. I love the change he has made slowly throughout the whole season. Overall, it wasn't a bad season, the first half got nearly unbearable but the second part made it up and since it's setting the arc that's in store for season 3, boy am I looking forward.

In the comics after making that reveal. He says

"We are The Walking Dead"

How could they not have Rick say that ?

"We are The Walking Dead"

Such a missed opportunity

It would've come off really campy. One of those things you get away with in the comics, but when done in live action comes off as too "wink wink"

Talking Dead should always follow the Walking Dead directly

Agreed. I know it doesnt so it can run in all 4 time zones at once and everyone can call in live. While it's fun I cant justify staying up until midnight on Sunday to watch it.

27 Degrees while filming that Zombie Attack. Damn

Seriously?

- The North

Why are people so reluctant to run over the zombies. multi ton car is going to do more damage to a pack of zombies then the zombies are going to do to the car.

T-Dog was running them down like it was his job.

Is it possible that Hershel's sports jacket has the same properties that Solid Snake's bandana has?

Ha! I saw that. Out of nowhere he's got a sport coat on. Did it just happen to be in the car with Rick and Carl? Does he consider zombie killing a "business casual" occasion? These are the questions people need to be asking Kirkman. :)

After watching The Talking Dead, it sounds like Kirkman and the other executive producer were happy that they were done with this season...Alot of filler stuff happened and they know the real stuff goes down next season at the
prison and with The Governor.

Alot of unnecessary stories this season.

Btw, what grinds my gears is when Lori freaks out over Carl missing and demands everyone to stop what they are doing and look for her son while zombies are parading the farm compound or when Carl is freaking out over his mother and wanting them to go back to find her.

What gives those two fools the right to say what should go down? If I was T-Dawg or Hershell or the woman that just lost her mother outside the house, I'd smack Lori in the face and tell her go screw herself and her kid.

I'd tell her to put a leash on him. She has been an unattentive mother all season.

She has lost track of that kid countless times. Take care of your goddamn kid already!

I kind of don't want Andrea and Michonne to join the group just yet. I think it would be awesome to just see the ZA in two point of views for a while. Also I kind of want to see a bad ass scene of the two of them working together.

I agree. Who the Hell does that 12-year-old think he is, wanting to find out if his Mother survived! What a little jerk!

There was no girl that lost her Mother in the episode either.

The Zombies have ninja skills because no one seems to hear these things sneak up on them.

They need a Panto audience to shout its behind you!

What the hell is Lori's problem with Rick? Shane is a psycho idiot and Rick did her a favor by killing him...Rick getting his suspicious on.

Carl starts wailing after Rick says he killed Shane and democracy has gone to hell......FML

Things that grind my gears

Well that was interesting. Glad Hershel and Maggie made it. Same goes for Rick, Daryl and Glenn. The rest of the characters I'm ambivalent about and that includes the two red shirts with the least screentime all season getting chowed down on.

The thing I had the biggest reaction to was Lorre giving Rick crap. She has been cheerleading Rick to kill Shane for like half the season, giving him more than one Lady MacBeth speeches to convince him to do it. Soon as he does it, in self-defense, she is appalled by him. Seeing them all turn on Rick is enough to understand why he is finally starting to lose it.

Decent finale overall. I honestly don't know if I'll be watching next season.

Here's a good explanation:

And do not miss Season 3. If you haven't read the comics, you're in for a real treat. Depending on how much they follow the comic, there is TONS of unbelievably shocking stuff that you will regret missing. It only gets better. The prison, Michonne, and The Governer are arguably the most famous aspects of The Walking Dead. I can only imagine how it's all going to go down in Season 3. It will provide for some of the most shocking television ever. I really can't wait. Hopefully this pushes the bounderies of television and the content in it. I promise, it's superb.

Plus I can tell Kirkman and Mazzara really want to do better this season with every episode. Rather than the first half of the second season.

Nice to hear it's going to be very similar to the comics.

To be fair Carl crying is normal. He is a 12 year old who just lost who he thought was a friend and his dad killed him. He doesn't know what all has went on and doesn't understand all the under currents. To him its like losing a family member.

Yeah, I mean people always judge a 12 year old in a zombie apocolypse and decide and know what is best for him right?

:wow: that could be.
Oh, and if a herd of Walkers can take down fences so well...

...the prison will be worthless (even with 3 fences) in this tv show.

Well I'm sure the prison fences will be stronger than that old wooden fence.

The Zombies have ninja skills because no one seems to hear these things sneak up on them.

They need a Panto audience to shout its behind you!

Maybe they were all trained by Batman! :wow:

Cant wait for the Halloween special;
Hershel with a Shotgun 'Brought to you by Men's Warehouse Sports Coat's...You'll like the way you look, I guarantee it.'

Great special effects on those 2 armless dudes.

btw have you all been paying attention to the blatant product placement on the show?

Garbanzo Beans, Gatorade, Glenn and Amy riding a brand new Hyundai and killing them some zombies on the farm.

In the age of DVR...tv ads are now becoming slowly irrelevant.

I'd rather them have a Gatorade than a bottle that says "SPORTS DRINK".

So, here's something I don't get...I don't understand the groups response to Rick telling them he killed Shane, since shane was taking him out to kill him anyway. They acted like Rick was the murderer and did this horrible thing. The dude was freaking protecting himself from a clearly crazy Shane....yet the group acted like Rick was the bad guy. That makes no sense to me??
