I used to like Lori until she decided to go out and look for Rick getting herself in that car accident. I gave up when she acted all angry when Rick told her he had killed Shane, but I think they can still redeem her character.

I read in a few pages behind a Q&A with a writer and said that she was expressing her own guilt that she had internalized -- the thought of getting Shane out of the picture and the fact that she told Rick about it.

I didn't mind the car accident thing as much, though I did find it funny that she managed to wreck a car on one walker.

And yeah, I understand the reasoning behind that explanation, but I think they could have presented it in a way that didn't make her character extremely unlikeable. I agree that I think they could save her character. Like others have said, just the few scenes with Andrea since Dale died have me liking her character more. They just need to do something like that with Laurie.

That scene with the car just goes to show that women are really bad drivers. :o

I hadn't thought about Andrea, that's a good comparison. At some point all of the characters do something that drives me crazy but I am the viewer, of course I know better because it's all being presented for me on the show. Who knows how I would react if I was in that situation that they're going through, would be most probably dead by now. :csad:

I really hope the season 2 DVD/Blu-ray is more this than this.

I think it will probably be like the special edition and nothing more. Though knowing amc they will provided release a normal edition then se one later down the road again.

Yeah, that's how I look at it. And it's one reason why I'm not as bothered by Carl. Now, I won't like, I was a bit annoyed when he went wandering off himself, because, thinking back to myself as a kid, when I saw a movie that scared the crap out of me, I was afraid to walk outside after dark for a few days. So I really thought the convention of the "watch the kid walk off by himself and get into trouble" aspect was a bit forced.

But he is still a kid. And to be honest, going by some of the reactions on here, I think a lot of people have forgotten what it's like to be a kid, or haven't been around kids for a while.

The adults I'm slightly less lenient on, because they are adults and they need to take more responsibility for their choices. The Laurie thing is one example. But we'll see how it ends up being presented in S3.

I am reading the comics...up to issue 38. DAMN season 3 will be hopefully be epic in brutality.

^ Yes and my favorite character is Daryl so I hope he be gunning down people next season.

I hope they plan to release McCreary's score.

Is there a possibility that there are people who aren't infected with the turn into a zombie disease when you die or are immune to it?

My pet theory is that Ed from season 1 is immune to it. We never saw him turn, after all. Moreover, given his premonition that led him to dig all those graves, he may've been psychic. My thinking is that Ed's brain may be different enough that it isn't susceptible to whatever it is that causes someone to turn when they die.

That was Jim. Ed was Carol's husband.

This.

I'm wondering if when he said 'we all have the virus', does he just mean the group at the time? Or all of mankind? I say that 'cause Hersel and co weren't part of the group at that time...

I think it's pretty clear that it's all of mankind. When you think about it, that's how things went so pearshaped so quickly all across the world. Had people been infected in a single city, then the disease would've spread from there, but that's not what happened. Pretty much the entire planet was engulfed at once. That's because everyone was infected. So whenever a man had a heart attack in a restaurant in Biloxi, a woman died in a car crash in Amsterdam, or an old man died in his sleep in Beijing, they all rose and became zombies, attacking those nearest them and killing them with their bites.

Lucky you. I just posted that so everyone that wanted to read them can. I am on issue #40 I believe. Great read and love the artwork.

Am I the only one wishing they filmed the tv show in black and white?

Huh, never thought about that. But some folks are weird about watching anything in abnormal form.... B&W, subtitles... wide screen :o

Hey does anyone have that comixed pic where Andrea says she wants to kill herself and then Dale says no but when Jacqui says she wants to die, he says knock yourself out.
