couldn't disagree more. I'd take the gang methodically clearing out a prison and actually be competent to the melodrama from last season.

I'd eat em if had too..but to heck with friendship how about the sheer value of dogs as a warning system for walkers, or attacks from other humans. Dogs are awesome. Cats not so much.

I'm guessing plenty of dogs and cats are still alive and well.

I'd have to assume that many of those that remain have gone relatively feral at this point, since there aren't any humans around to feed them/tame them.

Well, considering everyone and their brother is a flesh eating zombie, most pets probably got ate.

Hate to be that guy. But this episode was really boring. Especially for the first episode of a new season. Them clearing out the prison got tedious fast.

Only the last 5 minutes were entertaining / interesting.
:huh::huh::huh:

I missed the episode,What is everyone's positive highlights?

You know what I loved most about the episode? The complete lack of Shane-angst. The only name-drop he recieved was from Carol, saying that Rick's done a better job as leader than Shane ever could've.

Girl's wising up.

seems like the show is slowly picking off the weak links either physically like Herschel,Sophia,Dale,Amy or mentally like Shane

T Dogg is next i feel lol

Daryll name-checked him when talking about the food Lori was eating, "I guess Shane Jr. has quite an appetite" lol

YES

It's much better without that. But now it's just going to "RICK HATES ME! RICK WON'T TALK TO ME!" :o

You do realize by saying " Hate to be that guy " , nothing changes. It's still your minority opinion and it is no different than anybody elses who either enjoyed or didn't enjoy the show. I don't know how you could say the episode was boring, when it introduced us to Michonne, introduced us to the Prison, clearing out the prison, finding the cellblock, finding the alive prisoners, Hershel getting bit and his leg amputated, etc. That's an awful lot for an episode.

But, maaaan... Creepy Carl is here. Beth better lock her cell door.

I wonder if these people respect the rule of animal friendship. Meaning don't eat cat or dog...I know I wouldn't throw away hundred of years of friendship for ''survival''. Got birds, squirel, etc.

Of course most cats/dogs probably DIED out... :(.

So basically, you'd rather die.

She's was the one checking him out. I thought the episode was good but there were tooooooooo many commercial breaks. I also thought we were getting a two hour premiere. Oh well, the zombie killing was awesome.

I think she just thinks he's funny. He's 13, she's 17. It ain't gonna happen.

So the billing for this season is:

Andrew Lincoln (Rick)
Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori)
Laurie Holden (Andrea)
Norman Reedus (Daryl)
Steven Yeun (Glenn)
Lauren Cohan (Maggie)
Chandler Riggs (Carl)
Danai Gurira (Michonne)

Daryl took quite the climb, he was the last billed star last season.

Decent premire. But I am going to guess that the armored up guards somehow died of starvation? Since I kept thinking how did they die? They couldnt get any bites on them and shouldve been able to survive with the other inmates that happened to survive.

Ugh. I love the Walking Dead yet it leaves me so frustrated when stuff like that at the end happens [blackout](Herschel getting bit by the walker)[/blackout]. Don't get me wrong, It's a good kind of frustration but the anguish characters I like go through a zombie bite it's just almost too painful to watch.

I know some people here didn't like Dale but his death seriously chocked me up.

Note the last 5 minutes part. The rest is just them clearing areas of the prison. Sleeping, and then doing that again.

So, no. It really isn't. Especially after a time skip.

I laughed a good bit to myself when Rick told Carl to "stay here". :funny:
