The only thing I'm really finding it hard to believe is what the hell did the prisoners eat for a while ****ing year? The supplies at the prison would only last so long. Aside from that, AWESOME. The face rippped walker made me yell out "That **** is rad!!" as loud as I could lol

So the billing for this season is:

Andrew Lincoln (Rick)
Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori)
Laurie Holden (Andrea)
Norman Reedus (Daryl)
Steven Yeun (Glenn)
Lauren Cohan (Maggie)
Chandler Riggs (Carl)
Danai Gurira (Michonne)

Daryl took quite the climb, he was the last billed star last season.

I recall reading that David Morrisey would be a regular as well. I'm guessing he wasn't billed tonight because he wasn't in the episode.

Other inmates?

They were supplies for hundreds, maybe thousands of people. And they're only 5 guys.

No there isn't supplies enough for that many people. Prisons either cook their own food or they have it shipped in. Commissary wouldn't have been more than just a storage room filled with junk food and packets of sardines n **** like that. No ****ing way could 5 men (I'm guessing there were more at one point) could survive locked in an UNMANNED prison for a year. It's im-****ing-possible man. For real, think about it honestly. A whole damn year. That's a long damn time for stuff to get pretty crazy. I don't see how none of the main group didn't die during the 7(?) months. This **** would be like being at war man, when I sit and think about it, I honestly don't see how any of them could even get a single night's sleep

I really hope that this season brings me to full on loving Andrea since she is she stepped it up a little bit by the end of the season but she is still one change of direction from the comics that I have not embraced.

daryl uses arrows over and over on walkers. then he hunts with them too, he is just asking to get infected.

Well I'm no expert or anything, but couldn't the 5 prisoners live off canned foods meant to supply hundreds? I know they prepare and cook their own foods, but everything? Every veggie, fruit, grain? Tuna fish, spam, corned beef? All fresh for hundreds maybe a thousand people on a regular schedule? You could be right but I don't have a real problem believing it could work.

Heh, I don't think it works like that.

Even if it was a way to get "infected", I'm pretty sure they've shown Daryl sterilizing his arrows in fire at least once.

I think they could have lived off the canned food but still think about it for a second. They are in a prison first off so there goes any idea whatsoever of getting out to get food and given the state of the prison I'm sure they didn't have any access to the other areas or maybe they had to hold up where they were and the only way to survive would be to lock themselves up. I love the comparison of them to Katrina victims but seriously, they are in a ****ing prison man. You can't get around that thing without keys and ways to access it all. It being unmanned is the key factor here as well because prisons have systems that have to be manned in order for them to operate properly and with no guards to fulfill their gaurdly duties daily they would have been locked away and starved by now. There's no way they had been getting around the prison at least not in a long damn time before now

Yeah, in this show everybody is already infected. It just doesnt change you until you die. Which is why they dont worry about the zombie blood getting on them while they kill them.

Although since they are already infected I'm not sure of the science behind them getting bitten or scratched changing them immediately works

A minor issue but I think this show has some of the worst depictions of guns/shooting i've seen. Aside from all the running super accurate head shots, it's obvious they're using non-firing props with the fake looking digital flash added (budget?) but could the actors firing them at least pretend they have some recoil?

Seeing loris and carl's spaghetti arms firing off 9mm's like their arnold just looks a little amateur for a pretty action packed show.

I think one of the biggest problems of this show has been not only that the characters aren't really that likable, but that there's no real reason to believe that they like eachother. There was no unity there. It seemed like they all merely tolerated eachother.

I think this episode was a step in the right direction in that regard. If they can fix that, I think they can fix the individual characters likability factor too, and hopefully that applies to Andrea just as well as everyone else.

Well why would they? If anything, quite a few of them have good reason to dislike each other.

The only thing keeping them together is a zombie apocalypse. I believe it was Glenn who even pointed out that they were all practically strangers to each other (they rarely share anything personal with each other).

The only real friendship was between Dale and the sisters. Well, also Shane and Rick obviously, but they were friends pre-apocalypse.

If they weren't on the run from zombies most of these characters wouldn't even go to a movie together.

when did walkers become so devious by playing possum and then making their move?...

I found it pretty weird and so unlike a walker to just be sitting on the floor looking all out of it completely and then JUST as Herschel walks by and is close enough, the walker suddenly makes his move and goes for Herschel's leg...

doesn't that act alone show that the walker had a trace of intelligence by doing that, instead of their usual rambling and pursuing their victim?...

just seems very strange and unusual and uncharacteristic behavior for a walker...
