I do sort of question the Randall thing.

He was essentially a dumb kid who was impressed into a gang.

The gang left him for dead. So, it's unlikely he has any real loyalty to them. He has no idea where they are, and they might well be out of Georgia.

The main characters could have just let him go. Or offered to give him gradual membership to their own group.

Except that he was going to take Shane right to them before he was killed.

How long was he with the main group at the farm? Seems very unlikely that the Philly gang would still be where they were when he got taken to the farm. Assuming they weren't overrun by walkers. He didn't seem like the brightest guy anyway.

Also, at that point, he's choosing between death and going back to his old group. Can't really blame him for wanting to leave when Rick and co want to kill him.

I'm glad they're keeping up with the quality of the season premier. Carl is well on his way to badass and Rick is finally starting to become likable. The actors really need to cool it with their accents though. Sometimes they border on cartoonish. Overall it was a good episode.

I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Lori, she clearly understands now that she f'd up with Rick and just wants her husband back :( I hope they reconcile soon.

I'm looking forward to more Merle and T-Dawg action. I want to see that feud continue.
;)

Just regarding the prisoner that ran.

I haven't read the comics, but I assume the one prisoner who ran, has to meet up with Andrea, or the other town? How else would Andrea know that her group is still alive. Unless the person in the bushes saw them..which means they'd have the location and judging by the commercial for next week, he was asking andrea where they might be.

Yea,a small fenced in area, and the screams made that pretty clear.

Also, I doubted they were going to adapt Thomas into the story but there's a episode called "A Killer Within".

I LOL'd when she told Rick she was ok with him having to kill the prisoners and Rick just looking at her says "Well, you say that now..."

Exactly how I feel about how she handled Shane's death

I laughed pretty hard at that. You can really just tell the writers knew of the complaints and issues and flaws of last season and are incorporating them into the writing.

But this episode was fantastic. I did not expect most of the prisoners to be offed in one episode, particularly by machete haha. That was ****ing awesome though. I thought it would be a little arc of conflict that was being set up like in the comics but nope. It's one of the reasons why I keep watching this show.

This season has been unreal awesome...This is exactly how I wished it to be for the Prison season.

I am so happy with Rick right now, my favorite Rick and Carl is not annoying right now.

the person we saw in the woods

[blackout] no way that is a spy from woodbury...It has to be someone else [/blackout]

I'm not entirely against Merle falling into line in the end and joining Ricks group :D
We all seem to be ready for the worst from him, which most likely will be the case, but I think that brother dynamic and having Michael Rooker around permanently (well for a while anyways) wouldn't hurt the show I think. Would probably mean T-Dog would be removed, but I think there is way more interest in Merle who was in what 2 episodes?, than 3 seasoned T-Dog.

I laughed heartily when she said, "We need to make a place for Carl to do....whatever he does these days." Good job keeping tabs on the kiddo, Mom. :whatever:

I laughed as well :funny:

Carl is houdini he will not be caged

The Prisoners going riot style trying to shank walkers was funny.

T-Dog a gentleman and a scholar with his words of advise

wow, just when you think the season is going to start winding down into a nice consistent rhythm...

BAM!!!!

MACHETE RIGHT IN THE ****ING FOREHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whenever they do introduce Tyreese into the series, I can see the guy who plays Deacon, from " King of Queens " in that role.

This past two eps alone have had a great deal more plot and momentum than much of the previous seasons when held to the same standard.

Hersh could have easily been in that coma for the entire season whilst the characters "Develop" around him....Cheers to the new producer for finally getting things on track. The pace of the inmate plot is moving like it would if it were chapters in the comic. What I find most intriguing is how Rick's losing the moral high ground, he's taking the easy way at every turn as opposed to the tolerative way he would handle every dilemma in the past.

Lastly I find that new Black inmate about 30x more interesting and watchable than this Tdog character. He seems really kind yet really bold when he needs to be. Hope he sticks around.

also
Hersh's younger daughter is probably going to be the mark of that odd smaller prisoner fellow

I haven't read the comics but I think Daryl will join Merle initially then realize how evil he can be and then decide to abandon Merle and help the group again.

I'm hoping the noble black prisoner replaces T-dawg as the token black character.

Some comic to tv comparisons from yesterday's episode.
