Great episode, I didn't expect the prisoners stuff to happen this early. Nice to see it although from the looks of it this early on, I don't see that one gruesome story plot happening in the prison from the comics.

So
who was watching Carol when she was outside? Is there a killer on the loose? Will Beth get decapitated!!??

Some spotters from Woodbury, probably.

I'm thinking that [blackout]The Governor's people are scoping the prison. And knowing that there's a pregnant woman inside will be a very dangerous piece of information for him to have.[/blackout]

She's acting the way any mom would in this situation. You want your child out of harms way.
True enough, but Lori chiding someone (even her own child) for doing something potentially silly/foolhardy reeked of so much hypocrisy that I'm surprised time didn't reverse. Carl's run was already done, so there was no point in her losing her ****. There was a way to get the message across without the screeching banshee routine. I wouldn't have wanted to hear that crap either, particularly since what Carl did was of use.

Of course, I could be largely skewed on the matter since I'm firmly of the mind that Lori ****ing sucks.

Anyone else chuckled at the "I'm not the best mother in the world" line? It had to be something for us intentionally. lol

Loved the preview for next week:

The Guv'na ...and, MERLE!!!!! :woot:

I LOL'd when she told Rick she was ok with him having to kill the prisoners and Rick just looking at her says "Well, you say that now..."

Exactly how I feel about how she handled Shane's death

If it was someone from Woodsbury, then why would the Governor need Michonne or Andrea to lead him to the prison? I don't know if you guys have read the comics but
the fact that the Governor doesn't know the prison's location is crucial to the plot.

Yeah, if he knew he wouldnt have to do what he does to[blackout] Michonne[/blackout]

I wish people would stop saying the baby should turn and claw its way out of Lori.

babies don't have bones or teeth or claws. The virus doesn't make you develop them either.

and GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RICK!

ps: the guy with the mustache, you think [BLACKOUT]he'll be the one that kills Herschel's daughter or maybe it will be Carol? [/BLACKOUT]

In the trailer for the season we got a few months back, it shows the Governor in a face-to-face with Rick and co. So unless the [blackout]Michonne stuff[/blackout] happens fairly quickly, I think they're going to have to go about it another way.

Babies do have bones they are just soft.

I thought Big Tiny was going to be Tyresse

If we do get Tyresse I think he'll join the cast in season four, nothing from Rick & Co. coming across Tyresse, his daughter and her boyfriend. They'll have to reload the cast after this season, so why not bring in Tyresse then?

What they did to that big prisoner was just wrong. At least lock him in a cell and give him a last meal or something.

The moment they met the prisoners, they should have asked them what they were in for.

during talking dead that little preview [BLACKOUT]with Mearl shhushing Andrea was pretty sweet, so much is building, it's nuts.[/BLACKOUT]

I have read the comic...

However, the SDCC trailer it shows a meeting between Rick and the Governor right outside of the prison. My guess is that Governor finds out from that scout and heads to see it for himself...thus having Rick and co to come with him to Woodbury.

One thing does bug me, Rick tells the inmate

"far as we can see at least half the population has been wiped out..."

Half? All known living people wouldn't fill a plane.

More like 99.99999999999% have been wiped out.
