I don't mind if Daryl goes but he'd have to be replaced with a character as likable as he is, early on I thought it could be this new take on Morgan, but he has some big flaws as of late.

At this current time, Carol's lost would hurt the group and shock the fans the most (aside from murdering pregnant Maggie, though you should realize this is not going to happen on AMC)

As far as Glenn, besides the magical dumpster, I can see him being saved at the last second by Jesus and a whole bunch of his people, along with those possible set sighting pictures, it makes sense to introduce him right before the mid season break.

I think the reason a lot of us, myself included, want Negan to kill Daryl (assuming he doesn't kill Glenn) is because it goes a long way towards raising the stakes of the conflict between Rick's group and the Saviors because they would be killing off a popular character who's been around for a while. That's why Glenn's death at the hands of Negan was so effective. Since the show likes to change things up and it's iffy at this point if Glenn will meet the same fate, I think Daryl would be a good replacement. Just imagine the buzz it would generate; seriously, if Glenn's death sparked a ratings increase, then imagine that multiplied tenfold if they did it with Daryl. And besides, all the fans who say they'll stop watching if Daryl dies, they're all bark and no bite. It's like Michael B. Jordan said: "They'll see it anyways."

Which is silly, especially when we have the likes of Andrew Lincoln (and eventually Jeffery Dean Morgan) in the show.

There has only been one moment with Daryl that made me think, "Ok, right now I see what other women are crazy about." That moment was when Daryl went all alpha male on Bob back in season 4. Only moment when I've found Daryl attractive.

Yeah, maybe some female viewers would stop watching but it's not like this show is on the CW and a large subset of people only watch it to gaze at the pretty actors. Most of the time everyone looks like sh** and they're surrounded by rotting corpses.

The idea that there is going to be a mass exodus of fans leaving if they kill Daryl is ridiculous. To even compare him to Han Solo is absurd. And to think they wouldn't kill him just because they wouldn't be able to sell some crappy merchandise is really cynical.

He's a character I and many others have grown attacked to, like family. I disagree he's done nothing since season 1.

No, he's done nothing since season 4 besides avenge Beth. Not to say I like him any less, but he's overdue for some material. Maybe in this new episode coming up, since it seems to only focus on him, Abraham and Sasha.

Agreed, he has done plenty since season 1. Not everything a character ones has to be defined by actions. Sometimes words are enough, Daryl has done both.
