The most soap opera-like thing so far has been the Shane/Lori/Rick baby drama. This season has been better about that sort of thing. T me at least

^ I have to agree this season is so much better than the second having to watch the whole Rick Lori & Shane triangle drama. The episode with Morgan was definitely the best and my favorite.

Hardly. There were about 3 episodes focused on Andrea to simply realize that the Governor is a villain. Yet we get half an episode for Daryl to realize he belongs with his family in the prison. It's very inconsistent.

Hey, I'm on record as flat out hating that episode that killed Axel and totally compressed the Daryl/Merle team-up. After season 2, I think the producers have become a bit gun shy on letting certain plots simmer.

But that episode was weeks ago. I'm talking specifically about 12 (which we agree) and 14 (where we may disagree.)

I liked 14 because it helped out Andrea, who needs a lot of work, and it did more to make the Governor a frightening villain than anything that came before with his character. Milton's character, well, I don't think it was a particularly great episode for him. We could probably use a flashback to his and Phillip's relationsip before the breakout.

Yeah, I've enjoyed the hell out of this season. I thought they stretched out Hershel's farm way too much in the second season and it became a little monotonous. This season has been great from start to finish, IMO.

So we got a flashback last night, and I have no idea what purpose it served.

"They weren't human to begin with." Camera zooms in on the walker decoys in chains then zooms onto the chains. Cut to Phillip mounting the very same chains in his torture room. She punished her tormentors as he intends to do the same Starting with her own chains.

my .02

Well yeah, I guess I meant more that the flashback really served no purpose in and of itself. Taken on its on, it was kind of pointless.

:awesome:

Is anyone as curious as I am to see what kind of S4 news will be rolling in soon? I mean, last year, we got word of Morrisey's casting before the season was out, and before we even knew The Governor would be involved at all. Then we got the Danai Gurira casting the same night as the finale.

I hope we don't have to wait too long to get word of whats coming.

curious to see how they make the Walkers more of a threat next season as they seem to be planning, just more of them?, hordes everywhere? Don't want any Super Walker mutation or anything like that (though doubt that would happen)

The show will continue the trend of humans being the biggest threat. Walkers will always be there, the danger they bring will always be there but the big threats are from other survivors like The Governor.

Walkers are a manageable threat at this point.

Seriously. I mean if it wasn't for Phillip we would have 7 seasons of the gang hanging out in the prison.

Didn't work for Patricia or Jimmy. :o

Yo I was really irritated by the "horror-movie" type **** going on in this ep Andrea closing her eyes and then getting grabbed by a zombie from behind the tree

breathing hard and couldnt hear it coming up behind her) the other zombies came from the right, she should have been able to see or hear them! wtf?

Andrea hears a car coming and she keeps standing around looking instead of instantly dropping to the ground and hiding???

Andrea escapes to a number of buildings and immediately the Governor goes to the one she's in?

Andrea sees the lights of the car pulling up and doesn't just run out of there? through another exit?

Only good part was him not automatically knowing where she was

She escapes while he fights for his life against a small horde, and she doesn't steal/vandalize the car he came in?

the Governor automatically pops up at the clearing where she comes to the prison??

so...he fought zombies, got in the car, and drove to the prison, parked, and hid in the bushes until Andrea walked by?

The above made the ep almost unwatchable except for the Tyreese stuff

I think you're focusing too hard on something that doesn't matter and you're dragging the rest of scoiety down with you. By all means though, keep dragging a pile of bricks down on your head cause people like me are just trying to push it on you for ignorant talk like that.

Looks like they're casting now. https://***********/ScottMGimple/status/314224522490433536

Why am I just noticing that Coleman, the actor who plays Tyreese, is also Coach from L4D2? I should have seen that the moment he appeared.

Heh, yeah I thought the same thing. He probably had the keys, but she could've flattened his tires.

Pretty sure the Governor was bitten while fending off the pack of walkers Andrea threw at him. He seemed to be favoring an arm and tried to play off his injuries when asked if he was alright. He doesn't seem like the type of person to broadcast the fact that he'd been bitten.

Would definitely make for an interesting more desperate act of aggression from him towards the prison

I don't think so, if they are going to have The Governor get bit then they are going to show him getting bit.

Exactly.

One of my friends actually thought he died before he popped back up to grab Andrea. I told my friend he should have known they would show that if it happened.
