The Walking Dead The Walking Dead Season 5, Episode 4 "Slabtown" Discussion Thread

Is it really that good? My brother had recently saved a copy that season in my laptop, but I didn't tried to play it yet....

I wasn't a huge fan of this episode. It was too hard to comprehend what was going on and the drama seemed way too force (Beth and the Doc were the only characters who didn't seem to overact anything). The episode only really got good in the last 10 minutes when Beth and Noah were escaping.

I think it was because of the new faces and new names thrown around to characters that were easily forgettable.

I never liked Beth's character from day one but really enjoyed this episode. That may be because this seems to be the best season so far though.

I'd like to see Beth continue to develop into a less-murderous version of Carol.

Slow paced but it picks up toward the end of the episode. It introduced us to a new and interesting group and finally revealed what happened to Beth. Nice to see Tyler James Williams show up as Noah. Not sure why Officer Dawn slapped Beth but she seems a bit crazy. Glad to see Officer Goreman get eaten. Beth really stepped up during the escape scenes. Nice to see her character finally have a backbone. The preview for next week looked good. It also looks like they are going to keep the reveal of who was with Daryl a mystery for a little longer.
