The Warriors 2010 Remake

No offense sir but your just one guy. Lol ton of people will still go and see the movie if they do remake it. I'm one of them.

I know ALOT of people against this, 100%. Including myself. I can see why some would wanna see this BUT I see no reason to make this other than the $$ factor. The original is ****ing fantastic and a nostalgic/unigue film that I hold as a personal favorite movie and story. I hate the L.A. move and the new story ideas being tossed around. No fan wants to see something they loved and be rehashed for no reason.

I wouldnt mind that so much but in the present it just doesnt seem it would work, IMO. But again, I dont want them touching The Warriors.

Cause 60s had the teenage rebellious stages, assassinations, racicsts acts, street gangs being popular. Just provide a better energy and atmosphere then 70s.

I know it was made in a modern setting. Movie came out in 79, so it took place in 79. But we talking the remake people. Because you people complain that remake taking place in modern times would not work cause of gangs using guns, then the movie an take place back in the day.

Hey man no one complained when they remade FT13 or any of them horror movies. Nothing wrong with remaking this. Ton of people who have never heard of Warriors before. So thats a good reason to remake it.

Where have you been? Lots of fans of Friday The 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, etc have complained about them remaking the films they loved (myself included). Nobody wanted to see the movies remade, and after they were made damn near everybody said "Don't waste your money, watch the original". I mean, TCM without the cannibalism? The Hitcher without the french fried finger? Explaining Michael Myers madness in Halloween? The Warriors without The Baseball Furies? Or The Rogues? Or The Orphans? Are they gonna be cutting out Swan and Rembrant? What about Mercy? Are they going to cut her too? 99% of the time remakes suck, and this looks like it's going to fall in with the majority.

Actually. The remake will be a piece of crap that is nothing like the original Warriors... because they're removing everything that was special about the original. That's the end of it.

You realize their are ton of people who liked TCM and good amount of fans who liked FT13 too. Some of the majority like RZH.

And they did not say if they was gonna cut out the baseball furries, orphans or rouges. They did say that they have new characters except for 2.

But their is still time to change the movie up. I'm tired of talking about this so lets just let this thread die and bury.

i'm 25.

When I hit my 20s, I got really nostalgic and had a new found respect for older movies. Without them, you wouldn't have the modern movies that we have now.

So that's why a lot of people get defensive with reboots or remakes; there's too many of them right now. I mean, even now, they even remaking movies from the 80s and 90s, something I thought never would happen. I don't mind remakes/reboots, but only if it's needed. I just think The Warriors was a product of its time, and it can never be replicated in today's age. At the same time, I don't having a remake of 'Westworld' or whatever.
