The Warriors 2010 Remake

When I hit my 20s, I got really nostalgic and had a new found respect for older movies. Without them, you wouldn't have the modern movies that we have now.

So that's why a lot of people get defensive with reboots or remakes; there's too many of them right now. I mean, even now, they even remaking movies from the 80s and 90s, something I thought never would happen. I don't mind remakes/reboots, but only if it's needed. I just think The Warriors was a product of its time, and it can never be replicated in today's age. At the same time, I don't having a remake of 'Westworld' or whatever.

I understand what you mean...Maybe they should not remake the movie at all then. Hey when I was a little younger, I had no idea movies could be remade. I was shocked to of found ton of movies had been remade like Prom Night, When A Stranger Calls, ect.

Exactly how I feel about this movie. It gives me a somewhat vibe of the 70's and its great. With it's sense of style and characters. I watch older films alot more than modern ones and I agree. Gotta trace back the roots of film-making and great gems. This is one of them. And remakes themselves seem to be falling to the cliche territory.

Teenagers want remakes because they cant physicaly watch movies older then them. Its sick.

I'm glad I can watch a movie made in any year, and appeciate it for when it was made.
