i'm 25.
When I hit my 20s, I got really nostalgic and had a new found respect for older movies. Without them, you wouldn't have the modern movies that we have now.
So that's why a lot of people get defensive with reboots or remakes; there's too many of them right now. I mean, even now, they even remaking movies from the 80s and 90s, something I thought never would happen. I don't mind remakes/reboots, but only if it's needed. I just think The Warriors was a product of its time, and it can never be replicated in today's age. At the same time, I don't having a remake of 'Westworld' or whatever.
I understand what you mean...Maybe they should not remake the movie at all then. Hey when I was a little younger, I had no idea movies could be remade. I was shocked to of found ton of movies had been remade like Prom Night, When A Stranger Calls, ect.
