Okay, I have to admit, I know almost NOTHING about Skrulls.

But I'm wondering if they haven't evolved in some way since their last invasion, either physically or technologically. Maybe they can do things now that they couldn't do before, and the problem we have is that we're using the rules of the Skrulls of yesterday as a way to prove one way or another who is or isn't a Skrull.

One question I've got to ask: Is there any way that the planted Skrulls don't know that they're Skrulls? Perhaps, in an effort to make the planted Skrulls as perfect as duplicates as possible, they've found a way to make the planted Skrulls themselves not even aware that they're not really Elektra...or whoever else is a Skrull. And all it takes is maybe some keyword, or some built in switch that switches the planted Skrull into Skrull mode.

I'm not sure if this is even something worth considering, but it would explain how someone like the Sentry, for example, could still be a Skrull even though we've seen internal thoughts of theirs that would suggest otherwise.

I agree with those people who have speculated Tony isn't a Skrull. As much as anything, I think his actions have shown this. I think that Tony became aware of the fact that a few heroes and villians were still Skrulls (post illuminati) as discussed in NA (5-6 I think) and has used the SHRA as a means to track down , test and monitor heroes and villains to find out exactly who the Skrulls are.

Without shouting it from the rooftops and panicing the general public (and letting the skrulls on) - what better way to check and monitor the the super powered beings than get them to give up their identities and work for the government. Also Tony never struck me as the kind of guy who would ever want to run an organisation like SHEILD - I think he knew that Shield had been infiltrated and the only way to make sure they ran the SHRA smoothly was to take charge of SHIELD himself.

For this level of infiltration, I can only imagine the SKrulls must been in place for years and years rather than months and months (Marvel time, not ours) and I'm half expecting some serious repercussions leading some major reboots for certain characters

I think the entire Illuminati is Skrulls. They have all been out of character, plus when they went to Skrull world............I just don't think any of them left there. Even though they had 4 more issued release. Bendis probably just wrote them out of order. Bendis............doesn't even follow continuity in his own comics he writes.

Dude I think that's one of the best theories I've heard! Also does that mean Captain America was a skrull?

But Bendis has already plotted to use Dr. Doom in his nefarious "Mighty Avengers" title. Maybe he's the one who infected Ultron into Iron Man. Or perhaps he's the one who's created all the upcoming symbiote attacks.

very interesting,id asked that question for some time now what the king ment,mabey one of them is still thier.i hope all of them arent,it makes more sense for all of them not to be then just a few.why have the illumanti and they would have to have all of thier memorys to,i site the conversation between namor and reed,seemed like that went back for some time.i could be wrong and that could be a terrible example and namor could be on of the skrulls but im just saying,all of them seems a bit off.
