Okay, Bendis has me caught up in his little game.
My suspicions on the skrulls:

Reed Richards.
That one lady who claimed her child was murdered in stamford.

BINGO the whole civil war was a skrull plot
the stamford incedentDID happen as depicted and the skrulls took advantage of it to disrupt and discredit earths super-hero comunity and since they are SHAPE SHIFTERS it would be easy to mimic mr fantastics power

That'd never happen Quesada purposely got rid of Baby May cause it ''aged" Peter too much. And to suddenly make Jessica his grown daughter would be pretty wacko and bizzaro.

I can't see how making MJ a Skrull would de-age him either. If anything he'll attempt to rescue MJ, end up aged because he's a widower, or end up in love and married with a skrull. Nah, I just don't see MJ being a skrull.

Actually in Bendis interview he said that he would absolutely not have that happen. He in fact mentioned the idea that the lady would pull of a mask or something and said that would absolutely not happen.

I agree about fantastic, but I think he was switched during the working things out phase with him and Sue.

Reed yes, but I think after the fact. He did say the woman would absolutely not be anyone other than a mother with dead kids.

It would be tantamount to, if on the last page of Civil War #7, the woman whose kid died, she pulled off her head and she was the Red Skull. You'd be like "Ahhhh, go **** yourself!!"

i get that civil war happened....but what if registration was passed as a way to disocver who the skrulls actually were?

Cap could have opposed civil war, at the begning then been swapped out. they rescued him and made him ronin. (strange's magic concealing him from wolvie).

cap skrull could have mated with jessica jones skrull to make baby skrull.
