i trust Dr. Doom. a dishonest man can always be trusted to be dishonest.
I never trusted Iron Man. To much of a politician. I would trust Cap if he was still alive.
I also trust spider-man. No one else would have ****ed up his life like that if they were just pretending to be him

Hawkeye....Hawkeye is a Skrull and I'll tell you why.

1) During the Avengers Dissasembled arc there was a Skrull present during the Kree Battle where Hawkeye Died.....

2) Hawkeye Died.

2.5) The whole house of M thing was Clint Barton but he dissapeared with the HoM and that's when the Skrull Took Over.

3) e went to find Wanda, as she was supposed to be a Skrull too, but she wasn't so he came home.

4) He changed identities and doesn't use his bow anymore, why doesn't he use the bow? Because he's a skrull and can't.


Clint Barton is still dead and Ronin is a Skrull.

Bendis stated that there are hints throughout the last 2-3 years of comics that help indicate the identity of Skrull imposters. I'm wondering, have we found any yet? The internet is usually kinda quick about this crap (which make most of the writers seem obvious).

Anyone ever think of Hill as a Skrull? How did she become leader of Shield? And isn't Shield really corrupt now? It's supposedly the first line of defense of humans and the way you stop them is to become them. Also, I don't think Tony is a skrull but I think some skrull DNA was placed in him. Hence his ability to survive Extremis and also his name shapeshifting ability in MA. If that was anyone else being shaped into a smaller woman made of metal, their bones would be crushed!

Skrulls took the Illuminati and tested them at a genetic level, took samples of their bodies, etc... which means they can probably replicate the powers of superhumans, especially considering they already did with the whole "warskrulls" years ago. The warskrulls were probably a form of beta testing the power replicating ability.

i really hope hawkeyes not a skrull, naner. sadly it makes complete sense. once he was in he even could have swapped the baby out, thus proving luke was right to distrust hawkeye in the first place.

plus i would think that since bendis killed hawkeye, and got *****ed at by fans, he would then take it upon himself to s*** all over clint even more.

I disagree.

First, she had a chance to nuke the Avengers (with the approval of her superiors) and didn't take it.

Secondly, Hill admitted to Tony during Civil War that she believed that something underhanded was going on in SHIELD. In fact she figured that her appointment to head of SHIELD was designed to keep the truth from being uncovered since she was expected to be a good lackey and not ask too many questions.

Skrulls could be....IMO....


1.) Spider-man?

Would make sense since he's made so many decisions that don't make sense to his continuity lately...unamsking, etc....would also give an excuse to "fix" his identity problem if world found out he was a skrull happening to play Peter/Spider-man

2.) Iron Man?

Would make sense why he has been such an uber jerk lately and part of the Civil War...attacking heroes...etc...?...and leads into point...

3.) Captain America?

This could help explain his "death" if it was a skrull...and why not have SKRULLS INFILTRATE IRON MAN and CAP and then have them orchestrate heroes vs. heores and the general mistrust of heroes who don't "cooperate" or register.

4.) Reed Richards...if not...ONE of the FF is, i am sure!!

Just would make sense someone in this team is...and Reed, like Tony, has been a little wonky in his decisons lately and in CW.

5.) An X-men "leader" type....Prof. X?...Emma Frost?....Storm..?

Just like someone in FF being a skrull possibly...it would also just make sense that SOMEONE is withthis team too, maybe a "high-up" in the x-men.

6.) Anyone that's come back from the dead lately....?

Trying to think...in past couple years...Hawkeye?....Colossus?...who else am I missing in THIS catagory?? (recently "re-vived".)

I doubt Iron Man's a Skrull considering that Tony has the Extremis virus running through his body allowing him to do things that can't be faked which we've been seeing him utilize as recently as WWH #1.

Xavier might be more probable since I believe the Skrulls mentioned in the Illuminati issue that the mutant gene was easy for them to decipher.

I'm pretty sure at LEAST one of the Illuminati will be a Skrull. That almost seems a certainty.

First, she did try to nuke them in like issue 6. The second time could have been anywhere from her trying to build trust between herself and the Avengers, or her being a sympathetic Skrull. Wouldn't be the first.

And Secondly, that could also be simple misdirection.

Maybe she is, and maybe she isn't, but if she turns out to be one, I wont be surprised.

Well if I recall, she said she didn't know it was them and Wolverine confirmed that she wasn't lying. Of course, I don't know if Wolverine's BS detector would work on a Skrull so...

Anyway, in a story like this misdirection is key. The shape shifters never turn out to be the people you think: the jerks, authority figures, etc. Instead it's the nice people, the cool guy, the fan favorites.

This reminds me a lot of the shape shifter story from Deep Space Nine when nobody knew who to trust and it turned out people like Bashir were shape shifters as opposed to the seedier characters such as Eddington.

Plus I like Maria Hill as a fixture of the Marvel Universe so I'd be bummed if it turned out to be her.
