CD Projeckt Red The Witcher 3

Not dying directly from poison, but poison damage causes a lot of health depletion leading to death. The hybrid monsters and the insectoids tended to be quite poisonous.

The Wolf thing sounds good if you like sign builds, but I've been going more for an attack build. Honestly, I just wish I had more skill points because I don't get to unlock all the techniques I want.
I'm currently using Viper armor set (coz it looks awesome!) with Wolf swords. Physical protection is a bit higher (though it's not important in NG+ DM, since most enemies kill you with 2-3 hits), but I still get enough signs intensity from swords to be able to spam Igni. Hybrid monsters and insectoids (cept for spiders, as I recall) burn really well. So what's better - poison protection or quick and relatively safe death for your enemies? I choose the latter.

Wolf or Griffin sets are indeed great for signs builds, like mine. Since I completed the main story and Hearts of Stone, I do side quests and explore a bit. When Blood and Wine comes out, I'll don my Wolf set back.

What I also discovered, both swords are bugged on NG+. Steel sword uses Cat sword model. Silver sword some unnamed garbage... Someone should get on that for sure.

Well now you understand that Viper gear offers nice protection.

Can't you get armor upgraded more in New Game+?

You clearly didn't read what I wrote.

In NG+ you get Legendary versions of sets. You have to find blueprints all over again. They're significantly better than normal game versions, but have the same look. Enemies are also much more tough, especially on harder difficulties. Speaking of normal game sets, I almost finished the whole NG+ DM with the normal game Wolf set, but had to upgrade only when I reached like level 64. Which was around Hearts of Stone DLC and final battles in the main story. Legendary Venomous set requires level 69, if I remember. But it's inferior to Wolven sets stats-wise. Slightly better physical protection and poison resistance means nothing on NG+ DM for any build.

You didn't mention the Legendary versions earlier so...

I discovered the copy I purchased get Censorship now I purchased the game from the US store will I need to Download the DLCs again

Fans of Reilly, can you clarify? Did you buy a bootlegged copy and it was censored? Just trying to make sense of that.

Ah, that would've made more sense if you mentioned that earlier.

Really pulling for Witcher at the Game Awards. It's my game of the year for sure.

Really pulling for Witcher at the Game Awards. It's my game of the year for sure.

The only awards that matter are the Interactive Achievement Awards which are held at the D.I.C.E Summit. Witcher has a good chance of cleaning up as those awards are voted on by industry professionals, not dumb ass gamers and journalists like the Game Awards are.

Looks like The Witcher 3 is drinking the milkshakes.

I was SHOCKED it won at that awards show, shocked. Glad to see it though and im sure it'll do well going forward. Such an incredible experience. Im prob gonna start a 3rd play through sometime soon. Have yet to try out NG+

I'm not. I knew deep down it was the true winner and so much better than the overrated MGSV.

This game experience just made me kiddy. Playing through the Battle at Kaer Moerhen was an experience. When I picked that line, and Geralt said "We'll be waiting for them with swords in hands" I knew this truly was one of the greatest games of all time. Or when I got to have a drinking game with my friends. "That hat was an heirloom!"

Well I knew it was the clear winner as well, I just didn't think the ppl who vote in those awards would recognize that. But yea it's been the best gaming experience Iv had tbis gen.

I'd be curious to even know who votes on the winners and if that's always been the case. I recall one year when the awards were still on Spike, they had fake awards.

From what I understand, its a mix of "journalist"(its hard to use that word when talking about the games industry) and gamers, compared to it being just community votes back when it was on Spike. I think thats how it is any way.

Well yeah, of course we're getting another Witcher. It'd be crazy not to.

Just reintalled this with the expansion. Time to kick it's ass all over again.

Didn't they already say beforehand if they did another game, it would probably follow Ciri?

Interestingly enough, I was exploring the Skellige Isles chipping away at the remaining smuggler caches, which are a freaking pain FYI, and I just discovered a random quest on this lone island that also has a treasure guarded by a Level 48 archgriffin. The quest was a silly collection quest where I had to get some dude a bunch of books about religion. Sort of pointless, but I like that even when I thought I've done everything, I can still find some new stuff in the game.

They finally patched Skellige's Most Wanted, but there are still some bugs on some treasure hunt quests that are not fixed.

If I could change one thing, it'd be a way for me to find areas where I can play Gwent players to get the last remaining Gwent cards. I really want to complete Collect 'Em All before the next expansion.

OK regarding another game. I feel like this game was the formal end of Geralt's story. Do we really want to ruin his potentially happy endings?

No, we don't. I don't know how they're going to make more games in this universe.

You can't play as a younger Vesemir, since he has a very strong morale. Ciri? She's a supreme being, it's not interesting.

The only way I see it, is to continue the game after events of Witcher 3. To ignore happy and bad endings, conceive one TRUE ending. And go from there. Like they did with Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I'd really love to see more of Geralt and Yennefer.

They could think of a new title and find a different set of characters to follow.

Honestly, I have a hard time believing there will be a game where Lambert or Eskel would be the main character.

I can get why CD Projekt RED would want to make more. Now they've found their cash cow. This is where they where finally able to reap the benefits of all the work put into The Witcher franchise. The previous installments were never this big. Even Witcher 2 didn't even make them the big deal they are now.

However, now it becomes a problem where they might let financial sense override artistic creativity.

They could always go back and adapt the novels, if they are deadset on the the finale being the finale.
