So I got all that free DLC, but how do I use it? Where do I get all those new armors and stuff?

Bring up your journal(start button) go to glossary and then tutorial, and it'll detail where u can find it all.

Man Hearts of Stone is looking to be an awesome expansion. I'm all that far and already Iv been a part of some kick ass "holy s**t" moments.

Man these patches are freaking annoying. How does that freaking work? Can you still download the DLC content again or what?

Honestly, I don't like the Gwent gameplay. It's sort of like Black Jack meets Magic the Gathering. IMHO, it's a bit too hard, especially for the Gwent-based side quests. I've worked on playing the small fry and beat them, but I'm only getting cards for my other decks which are still incomplete. As a result, my one full deck, the Temeria deck, is still pretty weak when playing the Gwent players on the side quests.

I love the game, but it's not without its flaws. The crafting system IMHO is way too overwrought. You can't really upgrade existing weapons or gear that you pick up and do like, except the Witcher school stuff. But getting that upgraded is both expensive and you need to collect all sorts of alchemy and crafting ingredients. IMHO, you shouldn't need monster parts to craft the Witcher gear. That's silly. You need a dragon brain to craft a freaking sword? That's ****ing ridiculous. It's a SWORD!

I'm glad I saved Gwent stuff for last because it's a long uphill climb to dominance IMHO. Also, winning at Gwent IMHO is not as rewarding as other quests.

Basically what happens is you start the game with the new 1.10 patch, and if you start a NG+, your DLC gear and missions just disappear. This has been patched on the PC, but not yet on the consoles. I hate it so much, because I am waiting to play Hearts of Stone.

I'm still waiting for them to fix the Skelliges Most Wanted quest. I tried it again after the latest patch and it's still bugged out

Haha yup. It's one of the few remaining quests Iv got but I can't complete it. I'm surprised it's taken them so long to fix it. It's been bugged for quite some time

It won't be fixed until the next patch, per CD Projekt RED.

I just hope I won't have to restart my game just to beat that quest.

I finally beat most of the Gwent side quests including High Stakes Gwent. The games are tough because they are just sometimes based on luck of the deck and the AI being completely stupid with how they use their special cards sometimes. I was able to luckily beat the dwarf banker in Novigrad. From there I was able to beat the ham and eggers before eventually getting my decks strong enough to beat the side quest Gwent players.

Honestly though, I think I got cheated out of the XP points and coin for finishing the High Stakes side quest, but whatever. Some of those matches were so hard, level 26 or not, you should be rewarded way more points for winning those Gwent match-ups.

Here is a tweak I want. I want the map to mark Gwent players. That way I can figure out who I haven't played and beaten for cards yet.

Luckily, I was able to return to Vizima to beat the Gwent dude in the courtyard of the royal palace.

You should, easily. You should be at the absolute least a 30 before you start HoS.

I'm over halfway through level 37 after beating the main game and almost all the sidequests. Only ones I haven't beaten are Skellige's Most Wanted and Gwent Collection.

I also have mastercrafted versions of all the Witcher school weapons and armor.

Damn I had forgotten how good this game is, only played a bit of the new add on and only a side mission at that but already had several awesome fights and a nice call back to the first Witcher game. Im a little rusty on the combat as its been a while but it Im sure that will come back with time, such a great game hope the expansion continues to be awesome.

I finally found that hidden Vampire quest The Tome Entombed in Novigrad. Honestly, that one's a little bit of a letdown. I think you should be able to complete the quest without killing the vampire or finding that missing artifact. But the vampire's reaction to being woken up is hilarious.

As for the above article, I know a couple people who aren't happy with the language of Witcher 3 as well as Geralt's masculinity.

Yea, you'll be fine in NG+ and in Hearts of Stone. Most enemies in HoS are around the 34 mark.

HoS is AMAZING. Some of the best 'Witcher' moments in the series. I can only imagine how incredible the following expansion is gonna be. They are off to an amazing start with this first one.

Sounds like a bug, I would try checking google and seeing if anyone else is having the same problem. I would also maybe suggesting trying to go back and see if you have a slightly earlier save and see if the problem still persists.
