Okay the Teen Titans incident is disturbing and shows how messed up the internet can be. I do love some of those redesigns posted in the comments below that article, especially Power Girl and Zatanna.

If Wondy gets something respectable like this, I would very much welcome it.

You didn't hear about the Teen Titans thing? It was all over the place. It was part of the reason CBR pretty much deleted their entire forum. Somehow it was impossible for some people to see that Wonder Girl was pretty much Courtney Stodden in that pic, couldn't deal with someone pointing that out, and had to show one of the worst aspects of fandom to the world.

Then again, one has to point out that the cover seems to be done by Rob Liefield (or one of his clones). keeping that in mind, it shouldn't come as a surprise that his female characters all look like they had a boob job. The man is the picture book definition of a hack when it comes to drawing.

sorry but Power Girl look like a crazy clown in that mess of an outfit.

And "respectable"? so are mma female fighters or female runners in the shamful list now? should we ban female boxers because we can see their evil legs and belly and we migh also put them all in full on afganstani burqa as well?

honestly these "lets cover all female super girls" and "skin and boobs are the devil" articles are pretty insane.

I wouldn't go to such incredible lengths. There's nothing wrong with showing skin, but I do draw the line on a cleavage window and thongs. If you don't like the design, I can respect that. I just thought it was a good redesign of her costume, and a direction I would like them to try with Wonder Woman. I'm not advocating we cover up our women and shame them for showcasing their bodies. I simply prefer our female heroes not to be hyper-sexualized.

Damn. This is wicked. Her face is gorgeous.Not usually a fan of the fully covered redesigns, but I love this.

Idk I think they're a bit to similar (even the boots are the same) for me to suspend my disbelief but I could be jaded due to me seeing people steal my work and pass it off as their own when my name was on it.

That artist did a bunch of designs for different superheroes. But, his choice in pants color for WW confused me...

Yeah, I'm a member of CBR and can attest that it got really nasty. BTW, I didn't like the TT cover either. They turned WG the teenager into a pin-up model, eww.

I didn't really post much at CBR. I was surprised about the reaction at CBR itself. I knew it would get a big reaction at other sites, but didn't think their forum would have so many comments.

CBR itself didn't get nearly as bad as other places (there were no rape threats as far as I'm aware). However, there were quite a few comments that went beyond disagreeing with the author and were just downright disrespectful. Apparently, the powers that be had been concerned with what they saw as a gradual increasing negativity for awhile now, and this incident was just the straw that broke the camels back.

the boots don't really look the same IMO. the guy did it back in 2013. I'm not sure when you doodled yours, but I'm guessing it was more recent.
I'm 99% sure he did not see yours.

And if you think that TT cover is done by a "Liefeld clone", you're absolutely delusional. The art isn't bad at all. The problem is the size of her breasts. Not the art itself. I don't even blame the artist. You never know what editor is telling them to change things like breast size. (From a friend in the industry, it happens.)
That cover would be fine with less ridiculous boobage.

Red and blue is her color scheme. Keep it that way.

I did make mine in 2013 but who cares one way or the other it happened? I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I think they should at least expose her arms. I'm cool with them covering the cleavage. It isn't like Gal is overly endowed in that area anyway, but I wouldn't mind seeing the musculature in her arms on display.

Well if you ask me, WW in live action except from Lynda Carter there wasn't another live action adaption of the suit in this modern era. I also want some blue and red with golden or silver. I'm not saying this should be her suit, but if you change her bracelets for the classic ones you have a nice CONCEPT. The idea of another serious tone that doesn't compare with the USA flag and I don't know I saw this more from a warrior superhero female also. Maybe for a first contact suit before he gets sort of inspired or has an idea to wear the other colors (red and blue) as an improved suit.

Big breasts obviously lend themselves to cleavage more than small breasts. That's not being sexist or perverted. That's just a simple fact. I'm too old to really give a crap about it. I just want the costume to look as good as possible, and trying to make cleavage where there isn't any just doesn't usually look very good.
