I turn towards the sound and find Red X.

"I wouldn't make any snide remarks if I were you, punk. You still haven't given an explanation as to why you're here."

This is too much.

"The Joker is right about one thing," I say, almost wishing I could take the words back. "We stand here 'talking' while Unity continues to spread. Enough of this!"

I step forward, pushing Gardner out of the way, and aim my ring at Joker's head. "If no one is going to do anything, I will rip the information from his mind, fly to Metropolis, and defuse the bomb myself. To hells with any damage it may cause," I say, sneering at Joker.

"Calm down, Sinestro. Just find out where he's keeping the bomb, and we'll go and defuse it."

"You want a straight answer, i'm a lot of things thief ,criminal but i'm no hero. I take what i want in life. i'm not some crazy who thinks they can rule the world like him" he pointed to the Joker. "I'm here because you going to need all the help you get get to stop the unity, this isn't some super villian you can lock up, you need me in"

"What has happened to you?" I ask Gardner. He's not even Gardner anymore. I never thought that would be a bad thing...but at least when he was a Green Lantern and not a Blue Lantern you knew where you stood with him. And how to handle him.

"I try and learn from you, but you heroes confuse me. You won't kill these villains even though it may save millions of lives. But in some ways I can understand that. Killing is a line you won't cross. But you will not even fix their warped minds so they are no longer a threat?" I shake my head.

"So you lock them away. And it should work, except they continue to escape. And you expect to create somekind of order within this chaos?"

I sigh with resignation. "Very well. Release me. No...harm...shall come to this villain. If I can find it in his mind, I will extract the necessary information so we can continue our fight."

Meanwhile, Joker here apparently laid a Joker Venom bomb somewhere in Metropolis, to try to eleminate the members of the Unity. Either one you want to help with, will be valuable."

I nod at this, and look at the others to hear what they have to say.

I'm being reasonable. Reasonable with Sinestro. This ring is doing something to me.

I contiue to look back and forth between Batman, Guy and Red X. This isn't really getting anywhere and taking up way too much time. WHich we, in situations like these don't have. I look at the ring Guy's pointing to, "Okay...so what do you propose?"

But...I still don't have a good feeling about the kid. I'm not really buying his story. But, considering the loose cannons already in this group, the kid won't be such a problem considering.

"Besides this ain't getting us any where, do we have a plan? Or are we going to just stand here while laughing boy over there cracks one-liners".

***"Attention Former JLA members and allies. This is Wonder Woman. Although we have disbanded, I'm sending this signal through our old comm lines. Hopefully everyone still has theirs. I'm also sending this communique to all the heroes and villains I've worked with in this campaign via the power of The Martian Manhunter. He has agreed to send this to you telepathically. I'm sending this signal because Jay Garrick and I have a plan to stop the Unity's influence throughout the planet. We have the Cosmic Treadmill and are positioning it in a safe place on the globe. We feel that a steady speedforce field can reduce or possibly remove the Unity's control over the populace. We still need one or two more speedsters. Everyone's priority should be to find Wallace West and Bart Allen. Superman and Supergirl are already on the case for finding those two but recruiting them to our cause should be everyone's primary mission.

As for the rest of you, once we find a way to remove the Unity's influence, you must find the Unity in it's headquarters and destory it. I suggest that Hal heads up that taskforce. Find the Unity and stike at it's heart. Once we have established the Speedforce Field, the rest of us will join you.

You who have heard this message, spread the word to our allies. We will need their help.

On a final note, I want you to look around you. I want you to look in the face of the people united together. Perhaps the Unity Crisis can bring us together. Just as it predicted. Some good can come from this. The Earth cannot go unprotected. We must never turn our backs on our duty again.

When we triumph over the Unity, I propose that we form a New Justice League. And when we do triumph, we will not forget what has happened. The faces surrounding you will proudly say, "I was there. I fought the Unity. I shed blood with these few. These lucky few."
