I'll be putting up apps for Dr.Fate and Superboy. Which will be in the JSA and Teen Titans respectively.
I want to try and fill those rosters out. We can't let the JLA be the only super heroes in town. Let the kids and the old folks have their share.

Powers: Undersea adaptation, telepathy with marine life, Enhanced strength, speed, senses and durability, Extra resistance to heat/energy based attacks, Mystically enchanted left hand (The water hand can heal people of almost anything short of death, change shape, size, and density, enhance Orin's telepathy, give him visions of the future, and sustain him at full strength when he's out of water through its connection to the "Secret Sea").

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:
1) He's been long absent from the game.
2) It's Aquaman, dammit. He's the King of the Sea. [BLACKOUT]or not[/BLACKOUT]
3) I want to talk to the fishies.
Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar explaining what you plan to do with the character you've chosen (i.e. What are your goals? Will you be doing anything different with the character than is usually seen?): I'm changing up some of Orin's comic history to fit the continuity of the game. Mainly, the Spectre never destoryed Atlantis, but San Diego did sink into the ocean (becoming Sub Diego) and is now his main base of operations as he's been exiled from Atlantis (more on that later).
How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: At least once.
Color and font you plan on using for your characters speech (Might not be applicable but it makes the roster pretty): Bold Orange

How did you find out about this game, Recruitment thread/word of post/seeing the RPG OOC/IC thread? I saw a dinosaur and it told me about the Hype and it's many posters and RPGs and threads and loafs of bread.

IC: Aquaman
Humans happily splash and play in the waters off the shores of Miami Beach, but little do they know that they are in the same waters as a lost great white shark who wandered too far from her usual prowling areas. She moves like a knife beneath the waves, searching for the way back to her home and the abundant food supplies there. She's getting hungry, and it's only a matter of time before disaster occurs.
I'm thirty meters offshore, making my way towards the shark, when it happens. A rather plump woman wearing a bright pink one piece bathing suit spots her, and the panic starts for both the people and the fish. Humans flee towards the shore, and the shark, startled by the sudden movement, lashes out, grabbing a small boy on a raft.
Damn it all! Foolish land-dwellers! I slice through the water, sending mental commands to the shark to release the boy, which it does with great reluctance.
~Hungry. Scared.~
~There is a manatee four miles south, it was hit by a motorboat and is wounded. Get there quickly and it will be yours, no other predators are in the area.~
It swims off, and I grab the boy, and bring him to shore, where his mother is waiting frantically. How ironic, the woman is the same cow that caused this panic. Now I have to save her son's life. Luckily for her, I'm a hero.
The hand does it's work, sealing up teared flesh, mending broken bones, stopping the bleeding. In a minute, the boy is fine, and the people cheer.
And before they can thank me, I return to the sea.

1) I've had a fascination with the Flash's speed for a long time.
2) Wally West should still be the Flash, not a hyperaged Bart Allen. He was good as Kid Flash.
3) We need a Flash in the JLA.

I will explain his speed in the best way possible, not to mention certain Speed Force ideas that I can relate to the RPG. Plus, expect some crazy fight scenes between the Flash and his rogues.

I started this game.
Please provide a small sample post with original content in the style that you plan to write your character in:
The building begins to fall around me. There are innocents around that need help and the building's beginning to fall. I kick my speed into high gear, and everything around me begins to slow down. The rubble, suspended in midair, formed barriers between me and the people I really needed to save. I payed close attention to my hand as it grabbed the debris and set it in a pile on the ground. One bad move, you know, with grabbing things at superspeed, and it could been breaking an arm. I had to be careful.
I ran to the people and one by one, set them outside. Innocents first, villains later. Dodging pieces of the roof that would soon become pieces of the ground, I finally set down the last kid. It was now time for "-villains later".
There were three men, garbed from head to toe in green robes. Kobra, obviously. At least it's better than their snake gear. I wouldn't let those snakes on a plane.
I ran towards the three, as they stood almost perfectly still, except for slow movement. As I approached them at superspeed, I saw from a distance a laser heading right at me. I dodged it and decided to head on an alternate route. They had probably thought out traps for superspeedsters. They were backed up against a wall, though, and I new how to get them.
I ran out the nearest wall by vibrating my molecules at an enormous rate. I then ran around the collapsing building, hopefully to get there before they would teleport away. For all I new, the laser was a failsafe to intitiate their teleportation. I then shoved my vibrating through the wall behind them, but this time, from the opposite side.
The wall exploded, blasting them away from each other. As one begain to dematerialize, I knocked out the other two, and grabbed the first. I destroyed his teleportation device with a small tap. I vibrated his head into a wall and slowed down my own pace, keeping my hand vibrating enough not to kill him but slowing down to the speed of sound so I could talk with him.
"Kobra?"
"Mmphfpmmf!"
I bring his head out of the wall.
"Tell me what I want to know or I'll vibrate your head into the wall and keep it there for good. You tried to murder innocent children. In a daycare center!"
"**** you-"
I kick my speed higher and I slam his head into the wall. This time, it hits the wall and he drops to the ground, unconscious.
"Man, they never learn."
I grab his limp body and i run him outside, where I vibrate his clothes into a nearby busstand. Try getting out of this one, dumbass.
It's then I realize I'm late for dinner. And the kids, the kids need a father, not a superhero.
I'm a superhero AND a father AND a husband.
I'm the Flash.

Ah, you forget my god sir, Sinestro didn't know it was Kyle that he was seeking out, just that it was someone with a power ring. I do believe you'll find that Kyle brought up the initial idea of a new JLA when he (A) found out Supes was arrested and (B) was attacked by Major Force and the govt. (in a storyline that sadly never really went where it was supposed to)
Plus, the purple dude is a probabtionary member, so it's moot anyway.
"And screw you Jordan. Not only do you go nuts and destroy the Corp, but then you burn yourself to death in the Sun. Then, not only do I have to pick up the Torch and take the place of 3600 Green Lanterns, but I give up God-like powers to reignite the Central Battery, recreate the Guardians and restart the Corp.....
