The "World of Heroes" DC RPG Season V Signup/OOC Thread

Glad to see that everyone is finally picking up on the seven sins. In retrospect, this probably should have been dealt with before the Darkseid assault, but we can deal with that.

Do whatever you want with the sins. LT was the one that freed them by having Darkseid kill Shazam. BB and I only decided that we would be the ones to put them away.

While the actual embodiments of the sins are down in Arkham, their influence can reach anywhere you want.

Here's my line up for those that are curious to know.

Riddler - Pride
Poison Ivy - Lust
Mister Freeze - Envy
Mad Hatter - Gluttony
Doctor Destiny - Sloth
Psycho Pirate - Greed
Solomon Grundy - Wrath

Wait...Watchman used Hatter already? Didn't notice...hmm..guess I'll have to use someone else for Gluttony...or maybe I can use some magic to explain things.

Watchman also mentioned Dr. Destiny in his post, so I don't know what you want to do about that.

Also, I'm to assume that Solomon Grundy is rampaging outside the Asylum, correct? Or is something else up with him?

I didn't do anything with the inmates except for the Hatter. The rest in my post I just mention in passing.

YAY!
My post are ignored AGAIN!
Just Completely ignore that My character is there and screamed a line!
:whatever:

Not ignored. Just forgotten. It's been a few hours since I read it.

I wasn't going to change it. I just can't believe I did that.

As anyone could see from my latest Jason post...Deadshot is making an appearance. Now, I know he is an assassin and such, but...what type of weapons aside from guns does he use exactly? The only thing I have for reference of Deadshot to look at is the Villains United IC-mini.

Is it just me, or does Batman using a GL ring just seem really random? Batman just happens to have a ring stashed away (?), and knows how to use it well enough to break free from Sinestro's chains, taking into account that Sinestro has years of experience and has actually been trained in its use? Bruce doesn't have any training on how to wield the most powerful weapon in the universe; it's like a child trying to use a broadsword in a fight. If you wanted to have a ring slinger as a character, why didn't you sign up as one?

If there actually is a storypoint and a goal behind it, then go ahead, don't mind this post, but if not, then I just gotta ask... why bother?

*points to Watchman*

it was his idea to stash Dinah in Arkham, I'd forgotten Scott was there.

If anyone has any ideas they'd like us to incorperate let me know.

Also what is going on in Gotham? Sorry but I am used to having Gotham to myself with the exception of Watchman. I know Joker and Atomic Skull are walking around, and Jason/Huntress arc. Is there anything else I should know about?

Yea I felt the same way with just simply seeing Batman quote the Lantern oath. It just makes no sense. JRK...your Batman doesn't feel like "Batman" at the moment. Yea, I know a lot of people want to be involved with the Darkseid fight...but you gotta look at what your character has at their disposal and work with it; every other person with a GL ring has tried to use it against Darkseid and it proved not worthy...why would Bruce try the same tactic? Bruce randomly having a GL ring is odd. Yes, I know about that new Brave and Bold thing with Hal and Bruce (hence where that pic is from) but...just seems odd.

I think the Joker and the Skull are just looking for trouble right now, trying to screw with each other (Joker obviously having the upper hand in that department right now). Since Joe wants to prove himself as a hero, an encounter with one of the good guys who could vouch for Joe later on might be cool.

I have to agree. Of course, JRK may actually be going somewhere with this...

I think to a certain point it's about the *shock* of it. There was no lead up.

But of course I'm one to speak >.<

Any particular Hero in mind?

I'm still stuck in Arkham for a while though. :(

No hero in mind as of yet. I was thinking about Robin earlier, but I think Apprentice said he wasn't getting into it (?), so right now, I'm kinda looking for ideas and waiting to hear back from Keyser. :)

Hey LT.
You may want to change all the shes to he in your post.
You don't know I'm a woman yet.

Darkseid can miond control a planet of billions if it strikes his fancy to do so.

He knows the Shining Knight is a woman. :o

Uh...guys...you do know that the idea of the "sci-fi closet" has already been used in the comics, right?
