The "World of Heroes" DC RPG Season VI Signup/OOC Thread

Since the Season will probably end while I'm on vacation, I'll do my best to get up my Season Ender for Batwoman. If I fail to get anything up, consider my last post as my Ender. I already told JRK that he can mention Kate's presence at Bruce's funeral, if he wishes. Otherwise, I'm done for the Season with her.

As far as Connor goes, my fellow Titans (and whoever does the Titan funeral) have the right to NPC him in my absence. He will also be at Batman's funeral, but won't really do anything. Here's to Season VII!

How would she know of Batman's funeral? From what I thought, the Batman funeral was private. And then she wouldn't know Bats was Bruce, so she wouldn't be at Bruce Wayne's funeral either.

Thus, I do not see how or why she would be in any of the funerals. Unless the Batman funeral is public: which I find odd. Batman isn't like Superman...it wouldn't make sense for there to be a funeral held by Gotham City.

Who should I pm posts to for the JSA and Titans funerals. I want Jay to be at both. I also want Sinestro at Bat's funeral (assuming the entire JLA will be there).

JRK and I already talked about this. We're retroactively saying that Kate and Bruce are old friends. So, naturally, when she finds out about Bruce, she's going to his funeral. Of course she's not going to Batman's.

Hey, can I ask a favor of everyone (and by favor, I mean order that Byrd didn't feel like issuing). Since the season is winding down, and we'll likely have time off between season anyway, it would be really helpful if everyone could update their character biographies on the RPG wiki.

Not only would it obviously give next season's new players a chance to do right by our characters, but it can help us vets out too. I think the new DA arc showed that those of us not around in season 2 could have benefited from knowing what our characters went through back then.

So, I'd like to see everyone start getting those bios current. The bios don't need to be long, and you'll probably be fine just hitting the high points. Start with season 6, since it's obviously the freshest things in our minds. But also start working your way back. Even if you didn't own the character in a past season, you could learn a lot by reading through the seasons, or asking the people who owned the character (and we others who may remember), and summarizing what happened.

Honestly, I don't remember half the stuff I've done, nor do I care enough to go back and reread it. If someone wants to take up a character I've used, they can come and ask me, and I'll tell them what I remember, and if I don't remember it, then they can disregard it. No harm, no foul.

Thing is, you gotta set a general time frame so we can all have an idea. A certain time you guys set in your time, may or not conflict with my orientation in my time.

I was rather hoping people would be all 'Well, x time is good for me.' or 'X is actually better for me than x' or 'anything between x and x is awesome!'

But if you want a time

4 or 7 - 8 PST is the best for me. (can't do anything from 5-7 though)

Also, I'm hoping Byrd will give us a week or two between seasons (not necessarily between OOC threads) so we could have another meeting at a better time for others. Especially the people who can't make weekends, have weird work times, or are one of the Euros (Love ya guys ).
