My season ender for Jaime shall be up either tonight or tomorrow.

Booster maybe the day after.

Thank you, Harl. That means alot coming from you. I've had all this planned for a while now and once the arc I have planned for next season is over, I'll finally be able to get Jaime situated for some interaction.:up:

BTW, the Batman in my post (and many other heroes to be mentioned in the future posts will be the same way) is NOT Bruce Wayne. I actually haven't decided who it's going to be to tell you the truth.:woot:
 
Guys, I'm gonna be away until monday. I don't think Tim needs to be bunnied, but if he does, bunny away. I won't be able to meet the Gothamite meeting, so I'll have to have someone fill me in when I get back.

DC RPG Season VI Application

Screen Name: EclipsedHero

Character you would like to play (please include the color and font you plan on using to portray the character): Harold "Hal" Jordan, Green Lantern

Powers and Brief Origin (provide at least two sentences): Hal was a mere test pilot when he witnessed the emergency landing of a spacecraft piloted by the alien Abin Sur. A member of the intergalactic security force known as the Green Lantern Corps, he passed his power ring and the accompanying battery onto Hal before dying. Taking up the mantle of Green Lantern, he assumed his role as a superhero, often working within the confines of Coast City before being assigned with the safety of the entire planet by the Guardians of the Universe. With his power ring, he is able to accomplish nearly anything - limited only by his imagination and willpower.

Group your character is aligned with (if applicable): Justice League of America

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar. One to explain what you plan to do with the character you've chosen. The other to explain why you've chosen this character. (i.e. What are your goals? Will you be doing anything different with the character than is usually seen?): I plan to explore Hal's Rogue Gallery a little further, having him face some updated villains from his past. I chose him because he is my favourite Green Lantern, and has some fantastic storytelling potential.

"It's handling well at the moment. All systems read a-okay."

Hal's gaze wandered across the panel before him as he spoke, his mind racing as he silently completed a flurry of necessary safety procedures before returning his focus to the empty skies before him. Curling his gloved digits tightly around the control stick, he felt a smirk tug at his lips as he wrenched it upwards and sent the sleek, darkly-hued jet under his command into an upwards loop. Adrenaline surged through his system as he accelerated, the vehicle hurtling forward and leaving a trail of displaced steam in its wake. Flight, in this particular manner, was his first love; even soaring as the Green Lantern could not overtake it, no matter how liberating it was to be able to travel freely under his own power.

Abruptly, without warning, the jet halted. Hal was thrown forward, barely held in place by his restraints. There was an ominous hiss and the pilot tensed involuntarily; the dashboard was still alight with green lights, all of which signified that its mechanisms were all in working order. He reached out and began to swat at switches, hoping to find the cause of the sudden engine failure, but it was all in vain. It was only at this point that he realised something that sent a shiver spidering across his back - the jet was still hanging in midair, as if suspended by an invisible puppet master. His brow furrowed in a mingle of confusion and concentration in response to this realisation, even as his communicator crackled to life.

"Hal, our radar tells us you've stopped," the flight controller snapped, hurried concern lacing his inflection. "Are you going down?"

"Negative," Hal responded slowly, his eyes settling on a swiftly-approaching silhouette. "I've got a much bigger problem."

"Hal Jordan!" a familiar voice taunted. "I'm sure you remember me from your other occupation...I'm Doctor Polaris. And my presence here spells your doom."

Hal swallowed hard. Polaris, here? And he knows my identity? Oh, crap.​
 
I've actually planned to play Hal Jordan next season for several months now. My application is already written for it. I was intending to wait and post it next season, but if someone else is now interested, should I throw my name into the hat and post up my app too? Then the Powers That Be could decide which app to approve.

On another note - welcome to the RPG, EclipsedHero. We don't get enough new players, so it's always good to see fresh faces. And you seem to be a really good writer, too.
 
Oh, in that case, I'll withdraw my application...if you've planned it for months, I can't just come in and disrupt it. I can always find another character to RP.

Oh, okay! Good thing I checked OOC before posting, as I was ready to just press Send on my app. But if you're withdrawing I'll save it for next season.

Even if you're not applying for Hal, EclipsedHero, I hope you still stick around and try applying for another character. Perhaps even another Green Lantern character.
 
As Keyser said, if you are interested in any other GL's that would be awesome. I cannot spoil or hint anything...but you will be happy with your decision next Season. :cwink:
