Hey all. I've been checkin the boards here and saw you have RPGs. I checked the front page and all, I'm guessing the pictures are the characters everyone plays. Thought I'd give it a shot. I'm a die hard DC and Batman fan, so I guess this isn't a surprise.
I'm new to this board and the style you all use so don't rip me up too bad if I mess up.

Character you would like to play (please include the color and font you plan on using to portray the character): Huntress AKA Helena Bertinelli
Powers and Brief Origin (provide at least two sentences) If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed. : Gymnast, well versed with her miniature crossbow, well trained in hand to hand combat.
Helen lost her parents as a child to a rival war among mob families. The other family killed her parents, and as a result, Helen fled to Sicily. There she trained and became trained in fighting skills. She returned to Gotham and donned the Huntress persona, hoping to track down her parent’s killers and bring order to an orderless world.
Most recently she had a relationship with the revived Jason Todd. The relationship didn’t work, and the two broke apart. Ever since she has been fighting Gotham’s crime world as best she can, and hopes to do this city justice in honor of the late Batman.

I plan to have Huntress involved in much of this post Batman death world. She’ll be getting involved with the other heroes, and fighting the criminals. I like Huntress and found her as one of the more interesting of Gotham’s residents.

Gotham, home to thieves, muggers, dealers, and killers. Gotham is a place most try to avoid, and others fear to tread. Most who live here wish to leave, hoping someday an out will come to them. The corruption here stinks worse than a dump. You can smell the immorality on anyone, going from the common thug to even the highest public official. Gotham is dying, a city poisoned and thrashing as it struggles to die. Gotham is my home.
This city once had a symbol. It had a single man who took it upon himself to save this city, this pit of vile and putrid humanity. He saw good in the residents, knowing he could one day bring it back from his brink, and make it into what he envisioned. This man was a hero, a protector to all; even the evil. This man is now dead, the very city he sought to save the one thing that could kill him.
It has been one year. One long, hard year since his death. It didn’t take long before Gotham reverted. Slowly, the mob came back. It sunk it’s fangs into every inch of the government here, and seeped it’s venom into every able body willing to take a bribe. The criminals in this city are wild, their fears gone. With no Batman to stalk them in the night, who is there to stop them?
We’ve tried to hard, these past twelve months. All of us. Gotham’s heroes and masked vigilantes. We’ve tried to do what he did, to continue his work and clean this city up. But we have failed. All of us. Things have only gotten worse, and despite our best efforts, they continue to fall deeper every day. As much as we all knew it was true, we never thought it would be as apparent as this. Gotham needs a Batman. But Batman is dead, and with it, Gotham soon follows.
“This city needs healing,” I say, looking out at the vast cityscape a head of me.
“She’s not dead yet. She’s not beyond saving. Bruce, where ever you are…show us the way.”
