The WHC has been a joke for years. Not sure anyone takes it seriously... I know people who don't even go to wrasslin' interweb sites that think that. They need to unify the titles again..

Indeed; i mean last night really brought up the issue on screen on which world champion should overall be considered as the best in a way.

The irony of all of this is that while the WHC has been treated as a lesser title than the WWE, it's pretty much universally considered as the better looking title when compared to the crappy wwe one.

They should drop the "World" from the name and just call it the Heavyweight Championship.

I think it's safe to say that this pretty much describes on what the "Hug it out" segment between Kane and Bryan was like last night:

552037_374507912619195_1081383693_n.jpg

And ironic, considering on how:

1. Bane=Kane; both wear masks and are considered the so called "monsters" of their respective canons.lol

2. Both Kane and Bryan were intimately connected in a story arc by AJ Lee...ala Bane and Batman with Talia

3. Bruce Climbs..gets people to chant Deshi Basara Basara...Bryan enters the ring...everyone is chanting YES YES!!

At one point, the World Heavyweight Title was the favored belt thanks to HHH's influence seeing how the lineage was older than Vince's belt, but once Cena came to RAW, the focus was back on WWE's own title. Then again, it did main event Wrestlemania 24. Weird how WWE treats the titles sometimes with the any time swap on PPVs.

Why do I have this weird feeling that Hayman will be the scapegoat for when Punk returns to the realm of Face. He could blame Hayman for manipulating him... Beat him up and all is forgiven. Now... I hope not... But... It's WWE.

There's actually a good story in there and a huge match for Punk if you add Brock to the mix. For instance Punk loses the title and Heyman berates him, Punk hits Heyman with the GTS. Next night on Raw Brock attacks Punk. Of course I'm talking about this as a Mania situation and we all know nostrils wants his job back.

The WHC match main-evented Wrestlemania 24 because of who the challenger was.

Probably gonna be a Punk/Lesnar vs Rock/Cena tag match coming soon.

I also like the idea that Heyman is using Punk to keep the title from Cena so Brock can reclaim it "easier", only to find that getting it off Punk is anything but easy.

I hate when moves get banned. So stupid.

Meh spoilers,Even more so than lately,D-Bry's anger issues gimmick storylineis starting to really annoy me!!!

He's a pro wrestler in the top wrestling company in the top(technically)and he's a heel out of many which includes even bigger heels..Yet he has anger management therapy lessons as segments and now having to hug other pro wrestlers to help control his anger issues?WTF!?!?

The"PG"stuff hasen't been too bad&crap to me like others who repeat that they feel it's ruin everything..But now I 100% agree,It's amaizing how soft Vince has become and let his company get so watered down!!

I don't have a problem with the Anger Management stuff. It's one of the most entertaining things on RAW these days (slim pickings I know).

I've only seen a little bit of the skits, I'll say that Bryan and Kane are doing the best they can with a crap concept.

The Latest on Paul Heyman's WWE Status
According to F4WOnline.com, Paul Heyman has indeed signed a new deal with WWE, after his previous, short term deal expired around SummerSlam. It is believed Heyman signed a new deal around that time, which then saw him return to WWE TV last night.

Both Heyman and CM Punk were reportedly very vocal backstage about being paired together, although Heyman has said numerous times on Twitter that Punk doesn't need anyone to speak for him.

Heyman appearing regularly on WWE TV will also help keep Brock Lesnar on people's minds while he is away from TV.

-WrestleZone.

Man, Angle really hates Punk, lol.

Does anyone here listen to Jim Cornette's interviews on wrestling related stuff?

Man, Angle really hates Punk, lol.

Although if WWE allows Angle (or he decides) to come back, it would be a great return program for him!

Guess they figured if there's any man who can solidify CM Punk as a heel, it's Paul Heyman.

Dark Angel (a/k/a Sarita) May Be Blacklisted From Wrestling In Mexico

Dark Angel's (a/k/a Sarita in TNA Wrestling) tenured wrestling career in Mexico appears in doubt following her recent excursion to Japan for all-women's league STARDOM's 5 STAR Grand Prix Tournament. According to RingbellesOnline.com, by way of noted lucha libre expert Steve Sims of F4WOnline.com and Super Luchas magazine, CMLL officials are extremely displeased with the champion grappler for taking it upon herself to work a two-month tour for the Japanese promotion when their official women's wrestling partner in the country is REINA. CMLL is also not being financially compensated for her appearances since Dark Angel secured her own deal, which goes against company protocol.

Dark Angel appeared at a few STARDOM shows in March to celebrate friend Io Shirai's fifth anniversary event as well as her own ten-year anniversary in professional wrestling. Since Dark Angel took off for an extended Japanese tour in mid-August, CMLL has continuously mis-advertised her as appearing at events with full knowledge that she will not be able to in an attempt to damage her reputation in Mexico. Sims noted during the Figure Four Daily radio show last week, "...she might not have a job for much longer in Mexico, it's sad to say." He also explained why CMLL is falsely advertising her for shows.

“As soon as they know they’re not available for bookings they start listing them on their posters and assigning them bookings that they know they’ll miss," Sims said. "That way, they get rid of them – which appears to be their intention and they can say "Look. Here’s the poster. Here’s the actual poster that we sent to the promoters. We said Dark Angel’s going to be there on such-and-such-a-time and she didn’t show up for work."

Dark Angel has informed fans of her whereabouts through her Facebook page with daily updates on her Japanese tour. After CMLL continued to falsely advertise her for shows, she wrote Thursday, "Just letting you all know that I'm still in Japan and will not be wrestling in Guadalajara in the upcoming weeks. Sorry for the confusion."

Sims speculated that CMLL may not book Dark Angel for shows once her tour of Japan concludes as punishment for her "betrayal" and since they control the Canadian native's work permit for Mexico, they can blacklist her from working for any other promotion in the country.

Sims said, "It appears that CMLL is doing it deliberately to issue a punishment to her, and I think because of the work permit situation, what we will find out is that they simply don’t book her, at least until such times as her work permit comes up, and hope that teaches her a lesson that she can work in Japan but only if the CMLL office gets a cut of her bookings."

In a worst-case scenario, Dark Angel would still be able to appear for TNA Wrestling as Sarita, as well as STARDOM or any other non-Mexican promotion. Sims adds, "They are very stubborn in CMLL and they’re going to make their point with Sarah Stock whether she likes it or not."

Understand being upset, but that's just a grimy tactic to use. Doesn't make me want to watch CMLL after that (if I still watched Lucha Libre, that is).

Independent contractors. If it's not in the contract she signed with CMLL, she can take whatever side work she wants. They're mostly angry because they're not making money off of her appearances over there.

I'm not arguing that it hasn't. I'm just saying that it shouldn't have been said on TV.

The problem with unifying the title, which will eventually happen IMO, is that these guys will be working an even heavier schedule than they already are, and WWE likes money, so doing two brand house shows gives them that.

As for the Heyman comment, I can't wait to see what these two will do together. And yeah, Punk doesn't need Heyman for mic assistance, but maybe we might see more personal days from Punk and Heyman will speak on his behalf like he did with Lesnar.
