By professional help, do you mean a shrink or (for the fans of Arrested Development who post here) an Analyst/Therapist?

Something tells me that mid 1990s Shawn Michaels and Dr. Funke would get along just fine.

Daniel Bryan is filling the hole that Chris Benoit left.

It is my opinion that

1.) Daniel Bryan is no where near the in ring competitor or character that Chris Benoit was

2.) I didn't even particularly care to see Chris Benoit as a world champion

Watching wrasslin' in and of itself is pretty embarrassing.

Anyone who disagrees with me being a wrestling fan usually hears Sweet Chin Music shortly after their remarks. Either that, or they get a swift kick to the stomach, then a Stunner before pouring beer all over their BROKEN BODY.:o

He looked extremely tiny being in between Mark Henry and Big Show. :woot:

Ooooh....Bryan vs Ziggler tonight.

WWE Officials Considering Taking Title Off CM Punk Due To Terrible Ratings

By Daniel Pena
Dec 23, 2011 - 7:18:47 PM

F4WOnline.com reports that WWE officials are considering taking the WWE Championship off CM Punk due to 'terrible ratings patterns' for his weekly segments on Raw.

The matter was broached prior to Sunday's WWE TLC pay-per-view event, which saw Punk ultimately retain the strap in a Triple Threat Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match against Alberto Del Rio and The Miz. The trend of lackluster ratings for his segments continued the following night on Raw as the program's overrun, which saw the Straight Edge Superstar, Daniel Bryan and Zack Ryder overcame The Miz, Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler, only gain 59,000 viewers.

Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer analyzes: "That's almost impossible given people tune in to see the following show, which basically meant wrestling fans must have been tuning out in droves (they were during the first half of the match but then started gaining at 11 p.m., but hardly gained anything)."

The main event garnered a 2.67 cable rating (2.55 for the first half of the bout), which Meltzer says is by far, the lowest-rated main event on Raw in 2011 and possibly the lowest since 1997 for a non-holiday show in its regular time slot.

Yikes. He is not aging well. :oldrazz:

And that superplex in the Ziggler/Bryan match was nuts. :wow:

X-Pac looks like a movie serial killer in that mugshot.

I hope they don't take the belt off Punk and give it back to Cena and go back to the same old ****.

Punk needs a good heel to work with who can go toe to toe with him on the mic. Please come back Jericho!

I think the problem is Punk is a "good guy" now.

Where as before he was more of a in "between" kind of guy.

The fans related to him but yet he fought with Cena and HHH.

If they take the title off of Punk... I quit watching. Why? It will go RIGHT back to Cenanuff.

I love Nell's Teddy pic, he got that quality main event to become a tag match! lol.

WWE wont take the belt off Punk, he's over and last weeks Raw ME had several factors. He needs a top heel to have a pogram with and someone in Laringytis role who is actually capable and relevant.

I like how Bryan was booked, I thought his promo was smart in that it didn't have him trying to be something he's not, I think the idea is that they want to see if people can appreciate him as an everyman and wrestling champion as opposed to a character, my guess is that he'll drop the belt at the Rumble though.

Impact was poor this week bar the opening segment and main event, Bully Ray is the second best heel they have, hopefully they realize it. Sting being in the main event was a smart move for a show airing in the Christmas period.

On a side note, I knew they were gonna do something with Angle in a bar after his promo last week, but I could never have guessed it would be THAT bad.

Kind of a double-edged sword there.

At the outset, I'm going to get a lot of fire here for stating this, but I'm not really sold yet on Bryan's appeal. I'll keep an open mind, but right now I think he's still in the testing stage. Putting him in a gimmick match with 3 charismatic personalities might boost his career, but might also highlight his weaknesses (lack of charisma, lack of distinctive look, lack of distinguishing physique) and serve as a setback to his career.

The thing is that's the kind of test he needs IMO. If he wants to be a top guy (I doubt he will be) then he needs to rise to pressure situations.

Ziggler and Morrison were an afterthought at WrestleMania last year. People only remembered Snooki, Trish, and Laycool. Bryan won't get any media attention, so unless Vince rewards Bryan for making the match watchable, I don't see the point.

With Shaq vs Show and Undertaker vs Triple H added to the card WrestleMania might have enough big matches, so Bryan could be in the world title match.

Being involved in a match with Shaq would be very different. Snooki is a low rent reality TV star whose match was filler. Shaq wrestling would be massive and a major angle. If Bryan had a lot of segments training Shaq and such he'd get a good media rub.

HHH already gets his share of the blame but I'm starting to blame Taker too since he could end talk of this right now unless he really does want to put over HHH.

I'll be pissed if he does, If it has come down to ending the streak being a Mania moment instead of a moment that could cement a top guy as a true star, then the moment should have been HBK's.

I don't see the WWE taking the belt off of Punk either. Sometimes I think "dirt" sheets over exaggerate a bit just to get the IWC talking... Or raving like mad men as the case may be.

They need to give Punk time. This is his first truly uninterrupted long term run as WWE champ. And the current main event scene around him is poor. The Miz and Del Rio? Miz isn't on his level as a worker and Del Rio has no credibility. Not even Cena worked with poor opponents. He always had someone who could be a competent rival.

And Johnny Ace? Yeah as an Authority figure he's missing a lot.

I told you that stuff with Angle was going to be bad. :funny:

I didn't understand the KO match between Tara and Brooke at all. The crowd had no idea how to react. By the time they finally started having a serious match it was too late. I just didn't understand the purpose Is it to get Madison over as a heel? I doubt she's going to be the KO authority figure so it just seemed like filler.

I did enjoy seeing Tara and Brooke locked together rolling around in various "pinning combinations" though. :awesome:

I was just thinking that the SD main Event ended up with no result and became a tag match where Jack Jobber took the fall. Now WWE probably remember that last year the their match from Bragging Rights was voted joint MOTY with HBK/Taker II on WWE.com.

So lets say Mania has the 4 big matches that have been rumoured, I wonder if they are maybe considering Dolph vs Bryan as the WHC match at Mania, and that the best way to get both really over is to allow them to do what they do best for 20 minutes on the grandest stage of them all.

Exactly, Jericho's return and a newly minted monster Kane could give him the type of heels he needs to really deliver in the main event, I mean Cena's first title feuds when put on top were Jericho and Angle followed by Triple H and Edge.

This is why I want Steph to take over the Raw GM role, her opposite Punk would be awesome heat IMO, hell if Steph doesn't want to go back on TV make Vicky Raw GM.

I told you that stuff with Angle was going to be bad. :funny:

But that bad? honestly it wasn't far short of lost in Cleveland bad. :waa:

That whole thing whiffed of Russo. The Knockout's don't need an authority figure, just use Sting to make the matches and let Gail and Madison get on with being the top heels, it's not that complicated.

Brooke's body is so tight they should call her Scrooge. :woot:

Yeah, Dolph and Bryan really have a lot of great chemistry and I think that would be a perfect WHC match at Mania...that's if the belt lasts that long on Bryan's waist.

What are some of the embarrassing and hilarious things you have done because of wrestling? This should be fun!

I used to run around the house and shake my bed as if I was the Ultimate Warrior when I was a kid.

When I was a kid I used to commentate with my toys as if I were JR. My brother would be Vince McMahon.:woot:

I used to do the worm and the spinaroonie at football practice in high school.

From time to time I still put on Shawn Michaels' theme song and dance around like he does when he comes out...kinda like 10 minutes ago.:awesome:

There was girls in the neighborhood that liked to do face paints, I came home with Ultimate Warrior face a few times.

I wore the Austin 3:16 shirt , people would ask me what it meant , other times guys would drive bye and give me the finger.

I collected the action figures and when I played would use red food coloring for blood. Also did commentary in my mind.

I would wrestle my brother and fight for a cardboard title. Eventually I found a backyard wrestling crew to join.

Also I did a lot of impressions for friends. One time I demonstrated the peoples elbow on a girl in school cafeteria(she also watched Raw). I remember a teacher looking at me with a "wtf!" expression on her face.

Whenever I hear Johnny Ace, I think:

Also surprised that nobody is pro wrestling has a gimmick named after "The Most Interesting Man in the World."

I used to rent the VHS tapes from the video store and me and my one friend used to act out the matches as they were happening on the television. The one that I remember the most is when we played out the Hogan vs Warrior match

Something tells me that mid 1990s Shawn Michaels and Dr. Funke would get along just fine.

We'd probably see Dr. Funke sitting on a chair as Hornswoggle or Santino unleash their thoughts.

And then he'll go to out and hand out this to all of the WWE Superstars:

That's pretty hilarious: "Wait, people aren't tuning in to see Punk fight with two lame heels in a feud we hastily threw together to kill time? Take the belt off him!"

I will certainly admit that the "tamer" Punk of recent weeks has been less interesting, but that's what's going to happen if you give him nothing to do.

Punk is over and is selling merch. If they put the belt back on Cena now, then WWE can burn in hell. Cena is not going to fix WWE's rating problems.
