Also, with Ziggler, he had the belt for all of 10 minutes before his title reign was revoked, wasn't it? Technically, wasn't Ziggler never -officially- a champion?

Vickie stripped Edge of the title for using the Spear, which had been banned, and awarded the title to Ziggler, who dropped it back to Edge immediately after because of a returning Theodore Long. 11 minutes, but 11 minutes as the World Heavyweight Champion. The reign was official!

If the rumors of Ryder being demoted because of last weeks ratings are true, then this just proves yet again that WWE is too impatient and can't properly build new stars. Seriously, it's like they expected their numbers to skyrocket after the PPV. This crap takes time, and they need to learn that already. They can't abandon stuff when the change isn't instantaneous.

That is, unless this isn't another case of the WWE getting a case of sour grapes and looking for a reason to shove it in the faces of the indy and internet marks being all "Hey, we put the belts on your favorites and they didn't bring in the ratings, so we ain't gonna keep them in the spotlight."

It could also be a case of slow news day = make things up. I mean remember that news that Vince wanted the word heel banned? Yet weeks later Ziggler still has #Heel attire.

The thing with Ryder is he has the mid card belt, the workhorse title, I don't expect to see him in the main event much, but hopefully he'll have some good challengers to keep the belt on a good run as it was with Ziggler.

WWE do lack patience but they have to realize the uphill task for these guys. I know the debate has been had on wins and losses but they do matter when trying to establish a guy, and the problem is with HBK, Edge and Jericho gone there is no established main event talent to put these guys over, as Triple H (Face version) and Taker don't do jobs for non main event guys....hell Orton and Cena get jobbed out before these two.

He's gone....for now.

If this Kane v. Cena angle becomes nothing more than Cena rising above his hatred, and good always triumphing evil

that would be terrible, but the sad part is i can totally see creative doing that so supercena is stronger than ever for wrestlemania

but still ANYTHING can happen in the wwe :o

I guess that's the end of Teddy Jr's push.

I forgot Big Zeke and Drew were still on either roster.

Tamina turning on Nattie makes Nattie a face or Tamina a heel?

The Orton/Barrett feud continuing does not please me.

Jim Ross answered a question on Twitter regarding Chris Benoit in the WWE Hall Of Fame.
"Chris Benoit will never be inducted into WWE HOF," he tweeted Tuesday in response to whether it's time for Benoit to be enshrined. "Great wrestler but horrific ending to his life overrides career."

New 2011 Survivor Series Buyrate Info

F4WOnline.com is reporting that the initial 280,000 buy estimate for this year's Survivor Series PPV was inaccurate, and that the actual number is closer to 260,000 buys, with 180,000 of them being domestic purchases.
This estimate compares to the 244,000 buys the PPV did last year.

Is there a reason I'm not aware of that nobody is thinking the return on Monday is Undertaker? I mean, that's the first thing that comes to my mind when WWE does a bunch of creepy promos...

I know it was never gonna happen but there was that small hope of WWE moving on with that incident.

I knew there was a bunch of controversy around it but I coulda sworn that Ziggler got stripped of the title, and his title reign officially stricken from the record books.

Cena Shirts Sell Out

According to WWEShop.com, the new "Cena Sucks" T-Shirts have sold out and are currently on back order.

Is there a reason I'm not aware of that nobody is thinking the return on Monday is Undertaker? I mean, that's the first thing that comes to my mind when WWE does a bunch of creepy promos...

My reasons are that it feels creepy as opposed to powerfully dark imagery, secondly the wording all feels more lnked to Jericho, plus if Taker is just gonna fight Triople H again he doesn't need to show up until mid Febuary at the earliest.

Yeah, I was glad to see JR answer so honestly though.

I'm skeptical--though it would certain be awesome if it were Jericho. I think the roster needs him right now.

I'm also interested to see which way his gimmick goes if it is him.

A few days ago skip Sheffield tweeted the following comments:

“Sitting in a chair at a table in Sin City wondering why this ladder is in front of me? Laughing at the gossip, the Secret Power, it begins,” the first message said. “Who am I? Only time will tell, but rest assured narkboys Im not a Terminator sent to save John Connor. I also hate College Station #Fake.”

“I refuse to type it yyywid is fake, accept n forget. My life my rules. Born n raised in Sin City, soon a psycho will be unleashed. #Patience,”

They were soon deleted. He makes reference to the Ryback Gimmick, his billed hometown(College Station) and is Yup Yup Yup What it do catchphrase. He refers to all of this in a negative context. Then last night he texts the following tweets only to delete them shortly afterwards:

“Tweet and delete. Still sitting in a chair at a table stairing at a damn ladder. Nexus shirt and armband mysteriously back on me. #Weareone”

“16 months have passed yet the last thing I remember is meathooking D Youngs face off. YENOAU was my creation Barrett answered to me. #22″

Reading around; those supposedly with sources say it's definately going to be him and clearly The proposed Miz/Punk feud is off with Truth back, so Punk needs a new challenger quickly.

This is the part that interests me the most, Jericho said months ago that if he came back he had no interest in re-doing either of his previous characters, couple that with the creepy imagery foreshadowing the return and I'm very much looking forward to what Jericho is bringing to the table for this third run.

UPDATED: PWInsider is reporting that the injury that happened to Randy Orton is legit. Sources have confirmed the injury is back related and that while the severity is unknown, it has something to do with at least one of the discs in his back.

Is this from the SD tapings tonight? If so I wonder if Orton and Barrett's match was very short and the stairs angle is a way of writing him out the show. It wouldn't surprise me if the initial injury happened with the RKO on top of the car last week.

Don't know if it was reported, but I was at Raw on Monday in Chicago. Skip Sheffield had a match against McSillyputty and won. I don't think the 1/2 promos are intended for him .

It's a shame J.R. gets asked that repeatedly.

The videos suggest a heel though. They seem like the average Undertaker video but the message doesn't line up exactly.

I'm guessing Drew McIntyre is on his way to getting the boot from the WWE.

Kind of glad Orton is injured his been rather boring as of late and his fued with Barrett is dull as hell.

Smackdown roster is starting to look thin as hell with all these injuries and jobbers.

Jim Ross answered a question on Twitter regarding Chris Benoit in the WWE Hall Of Fame.

The problem is that NEVER enough time will ever pass to justify it. Let's face it, HOF is basically all about glorifying people (some deserving, some not so deserving), and it would simply be a PR disaster for the WWE to glorify Benoit.

The hall of fame is reserved for greats like Drew Carey :o

I believe these "Punk will be punished due to ratings" and "Ryder being punished due to ratings" reports are typical dirtsheet BS. They just seem like they're really stretching to piss off the IWC.

I know Vince is dumb... but Punks merch is still selling HUGE... so.. I don't think he's THAT dumb.

Sheesh, I don't think that's an especially good reason to wish injury on someone.

They're not cartoon characters, you know. These injuries do affect their lives and careers.

Atleast he never killed anyone............that we know of.....

Ortons not hurt bad he will live and his still getting paid while his injured. In terms of his career its going fine his one of the top guys in the business.

I don't wish him an injury just think it came at the right time because his been a little stale for me and I actually like Orton.

Part of me thinks they should really focus on making SmackDown the "wrestling" show. I know it kind of was before (Raw had more skits and whatnot) but why not stack it with guys like Punk, Bryan (already there, obviously) Ziggler, Rhodes, Ryder, ect.

They could even BILL the show as a "wrestling" show... More so since they're not afraid to use the word "pro wrestling" anymore.

Keep the "Supermen" on Raw.
