WTorch's Wade Keller has posted an audio update mainly in regards to the situation ongoing in WWE.

He has spoken and said that WWE have planned for "all-day creative meetings" today and tomorrow as a result of recent events within the company. Everything started on Sunday with Daniel Bryan reactions louder than ever in the reaction that Batista got to winning the Rumble match.

This was followed up by Randy Orton & Batista receiving next to no reaction on Raw as well as Daniel Bryan's loud and vocal following.
Of course, the story of CM Punk's departure has also meant Daniel Bryan has been put onto a storyline with Triple H. However, these new creative meetings that WWE staff have reportedly been in today and tomorrow could mean that by the end of those meetings, storylines for Wrestlemania 30 could have been turned on its head and changed.
WWE are needing to put their heads together to plan out how to sort the Batista win out at Wrestlemania whilst keeping fans happy with Daniel Bryan and remembering that Batista vs Orton is set to main event Wrestlemania when the crowds are barely invested into the feud and not forgetting the ongoing saga of Phil Brooks aka CM Punk.

There is alot of work for WWE to do.

Good luck with that, WWE.

Either Bryan has to be in the title match, or he and Triple have to close the show.

Honestly, just what kind of angle is Batista/Orton going to have to build to Wrestlemania anyway? There's no intrigue in the match up. It's been done before plenty of times and it wasn't exciting when it was done. With it being between Triple H's former proteges, it's almost like a riff on Heyman's proteges in Brock/Punk, except it was an exciting match up that had an already built in storyline.

Smark crowds are always the best crowds. That is a bonafide fact.

Actually I totally disagree with your post.

Look at all the old wrestling footage from the 70s and 80s on youtube. Before Vince finally exposed Kayfabe in the 80s the crowds where more into the matches because most where actual "marks".

My mom lost her voice one time cause Freddy Blassie was rule breaking so bad she could take it anymore.

My Godson's Grandfather was banned for life from old Downtown San Diego Coliseum because he was so pissed at the Iron Sheik that he rushed the ring to try and kick his ass!

All because Kayfabe existed. You don't get those types of reactions anymore cause people know it's fixed.

That, Goldberg/Lesnar, and Warrior/Hogan II.

All huge misfires and backfires.
The irony is there was strong fan interest in those matches (and also had good build-ups) unlike Batista Vs. Orton which has virtually none.

Luger was supposed to win the WWF Championship at SummerSlam 1993, but he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and IIRC some top stars threatened to leave the company if Vince went through with giving the belt.

Lesnar could've carried Bill to a good powerman match, but fans were hating both guys for leaving so they just half assed it.

Hogan Vs. Warrior II sucked because Hogan wanted to go through the motions and Warrior had an injured bicep. :(

Cornette told a story on his podcast how him and the Midnight Express got so much heat that they had to run straight from the ring to their car to escape the mob chasing after them.

I could see what a exchange between the two of them (Batista and Orton) could be written like...

BATISTA: Unlike you Randy, I'm not a crybaby that walks away when the going gets tough...

RANDY: Oh really? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you quit the company because you couldn't beat Cena for the title?

BATISTA: .....

RANDY: Now I'm no crybaby. Time and time again, I've taken every challenge that life has thrown at me and I've conquered it....

BATISTA: Is that the reason why you went A-Wall during your time in the Military?

RANDY: .......

BATISTA: I'm the best in the business. I'm bigger and I'm stronger. That's why when we were in Evolution, Triple H always saw me as the next big thing after him....and even with that, me and him went through hell battling each other to earn each other's respect for the title...

RANDY: You mean like how I did when I became the youngest World Champion and how Triple H needed to back stab me for doing something that he couldn't back then...

BATISTA: ...... So, why are we fighting again? Seems like we actually have a lot in common.

RANDY: I don't know, but I blame Kofi and Dolph for this.

I miss Kayfabe. I remember being a little kid and getting so pissed that Hart Foundation beat the British Bulldogs. I HATED Jimmy Hart and Bobby Heenan!

pretty much but knowing WWE, they'd probably try to make Heads or tails of this by Having Bryan win at the Chamber and have Batista and HHH turn FULL HEEL as well as turn against Orton by putting him on "injury". Then have HHH and Batista in a Triple threat against Bryan for the title in order to stack the deck.

Having Daniel Bryan finally win the World Title at a cruddy B-show one month before WrestleMania rather than giving him his moment at the big show is almost as much a slap in the face as a total snub from the title picture.

Thank you!!! I've been saying this for the past couple of days.

At this point, realistically, if he's not in the title match as the #1 challenger at Mania for whatever reason, he should face HHH. Orton has been a pond in the real feud which is HHH vs Daniel Bryan.

Smark crowds are the best modern crowds. I can't stand crowds full of casual fan parents and kids because they don't do anything. They sit on their hands. Don't give that stuff about wrestling being "fake" because people get engaged with scripted entertainment all the time.

Have The Authority screw Bryan out of his spot in the Elimination Chamber and set it up to where he earns his way into the main event of Mania with Batista and Orton. Then make Bryan the babyface of the match with Batista being pissed that Bryan is getting cheered louder than him while also playing up his *****e attitude. And keep playing up Randy's paranoia of The Authority trying to replace him with Batista while also having to deal with Bryan yet again. Embrace what happened at the Rumble with the crowd hijacking the show instead of going into a panic trying to change it (because they can't).

I rather him fight HHH at WM than win the title at EC only to have Batista pin him at Mania. Talk about a major buzzkill that would be.

And where's the money in Batista VS Daniel Bryan headlining WrestleMania? There is zero build there, no momentum, though it would have a more intriguing dynamic than Batista VS Randy Orton. To be honest, having Batista VS anyone in the main event of such a huge landmark show at this stage feels pointless and contrived. The guy's only been back a couple of weeks! If it's The Rock, you can get away with that. Batista is not The Rock.

I've been racking my brain trying to think what the hell you do with Batista, then, because they've written themselves into a corner by having him win the Royal Rumble and hotshotting him right into that main event spot. The only out I can think of is to have a Brock Lesnar VS Batista feud reach fever pitch, to the point where Batista decides he wants to fight Lesnar at WrestleMania rather than fight for the World Title. Have them fight, with Batista's title shot on the line, or something like that. Because Brock Lesnar is the only WrestleMania opponent for Batista that would excite me at this stage. And with Batista removing himself from the main event, maybe the Elimination Chamber match is altered to become a contest to determine the new number one contender for WrestleMania, with Daniel Bryan winning. Then that puts Daniel Bryan up against whoever is champion come WrestleMania 30, and you let him win there, finally getting his moment.

And THEN you have a reason to have Batista VS Daniel Bryan. Because Batista can hold it over Bryan's head that he only got the belt because Batista removed himself from the equation, and he still has a title shot he wants to claim.

The other, perhaps more obvious solution that springs to mind is one I stated earlier in the thread:

Randy Orton VS Batista VS Daniel Bryan

Triple threat for the World Title at WrestleMania 30. Not the ideal main event at such a huge show by any stretch, but it's perhaps the most direct, easiest way for WWE to dig themselves out of this hole, without the inventive booking somersaults suggested above.

I'm totally in agreement about Daniel Bryan VS Triple H being a better main event at this stage than Daniel Bryan VS Randy Orton, but only if it's somehow for the World Title. Because if it isn't, then the match will have far more heat than the ACTUAL World Title match of Batista/Orton, which means they'll essentially be torpedoing the heat of that match-up and damaging both guys.

well well well

Word from people at tonight's NXT tapings is that there have been a bunch of different chants for CM Punk. Security were also confiscating CM Punk signs. At one point when fans were supposed to be chanting "NXT" for a show opener, there was a good amount of fans chanting for Punk.

I will say, one WrestleMania 30 main event that WOULD have me throwing money at the screen would be if they did a Daniel Bryan VS Batista VS Randy Orton VS Brock Lesnar fatal fourway for the title, so long as it was done elimination style, and so long as the final two were Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar enters Elimination Chamber and wins. Randy Orton claims rematch clause. Daniel Bryan finds some way to fight against the odds and gain his spot in the match too.

So it begins.....

Craziness. Doesn't WWE usually post the NXT tapings on YT?

The fans have taken over... #YesEra

I could easily see this getting to the We Want Flair level of show hijacking by the live crowds. What a potential ****storm brewing here.

It's going to seem so weird if things get so over the top and it turns out to be a work. :hehe:
