Internet I officially delete my career to this point and now proclaim myself The Best Big Guy In The World!

Correct me if I'm wrong but has Orton really been much of a draw since 2009?

I mean, the ratings on Smackdown went up when Mark Henry took the WHC off of him didnt it?

Regarding the current CM Punk controversy within WWE, it’s said that Punk and Triple H haven’t seen eye-to-eye on Punk’s character in a long time. At the same time, Punk and Vince McMahon have formed a surprisingly great relationship. Punk does not have the same kind of relationship with Triple H.

Word is that Vince is not giving up on Punk and still wants him on the WrestleMania XXX card. Vince is said to be hard at work in trying to get Punk back and make this all into one big storyline.

While the Punk situation isn’t believed to be a work, it should be mentioned that given the nature of the business it could be or has the potential to become one big work if things are smoothed over between the two sides.

- Kevin Nash tweeted about Daniel Bryan being left out of the Royal Rumble and CM Punk leaving WWE:

"Bryan wasn't going to win the Rumble. He gets tossed out.His fantastic base would be more upset than him not in it at all..Just my opinion"

"Punks beat up and burned out, works his ass off.Phil is a very smart guy he may just need to decompress."

Something I made after all this madness from the last few days:

Wouldn't it be odd if Vince has actually gone lax on his opinion of needing more muscular guys and it's actually Triple H driving that agenda nowadays?

It would be but considering how NXT is being ran, I somehow doubt it. I'm sure HHH likes having muscular guys on the product but I dont think he's discriminatory about it like Vince.

I wouldn't doubt it.

Vince, IMO, has always shown a willingness to put aside his personal beliefs and vision of the company if a different direction really is best for business. Though he's stubborn as hell about, everytime, at first.

Hunter has never believed in 'little' guys like Bryan, Edge, Punk, or Ziggler. He's always pushed moreso for guys like Batista, Ryback, and Mason Ryan. Which is freaking hilarious considering who his best friend is. I.E. One of the greatest "little" wrestlers of all time.

All of this being compounded by the fact that he has always been the guy to put his buddies, and himself, over others without a second thought. This, all going back to the days of the Kliq quietly running things in the back during the mid nineties in order to put themselves over. Hunter, out of that group, just never wanted to stop.

- Word is that WWE officials realized they had to “tread lightly” with Brock Lesnar and Batista in the segment on this past Monday’s RAW because of the fact that fans want to turn them both. There was a lot of angst among officials backstage over the big 9pm segment with Randy Orton, Lesnar and Batista because they were scared Batista would continue to get heat while Lesnar would end up the babyface.

- There was some concern that John Cena suffered an injury in the six-man match on Monday’s RAW after a spot with Roman Reigns. Cena waved off medical attention backstage and was believed to be in pain but that’s it.

You mean, they actually anticipated a crowd crapping all over a guy who just came back & leap-frogged the entire roster for WM? And that they're afraid the crowd will cheer the guy who's done nothing but put on entertaining matches and be the biggest badass in pro wrestling since coming back in 2011? Color me shocked...

And also, if Cena didn't jump up into Roman's spear he wouldn't have hurt himself, that's on Cena right there. Seriously, Batista did the same thing in the Rumble and it looked like crap then too. Why are these guys jumping to take a spear? It doesn't look natural at all.

And on another Punk-related note... I just went back & watched his Summerslam match with Lesnar and man, that is pro wrestling at its finest. The storytelling in their ring work & the larger narrative with Punk trying to get his hands on Paul Heyman is nothing short of brilliance. I also forgot how good Lesnar is at selling too... he made all of Punk's offense seem legit when it could have been super unrealistic if he didn't sell for Punk. For a guy his size & someone who only gets in the ring sporadically, he's amazing at what he does. Again, another reason why the crowd loves Lesnar.

Remember when Triple H did that interview stating WWE needed "destroyers" a couple years back. I'm sure he understands the need for variety but is trying to get bigger guys in the spotlight. They don't want Bryan as the face of the company , but it's impossible to ignore him. So I have hope Triple H could be reasoned with.
