I do hope to see Lesnar Vs. Helmsley take place. It's the one big singles match we never got to see. Granted, Hunter would probably go over him now, but I'd love to see it finally happen.

This feud needs to happen.

I'd also like to see Rey Mysterio vs Triple H.

Punk just posted this one Twitter:

The dirt sheets are laughable 95% of the time with false rumors and silly comments.

No way is Punk fifth in the so-called "pecking order". At least he's enjoyable up there with Rock and 'Taker.

The Wrestling Thread Says "Here Comes The Pain!"

Other than Angle, Mysterio, and Cena, I can't think of any clean jobs HBK did for younger guys after he came back in 2002.

Edge, Orton, Jeff Hardy, and I'm guess not too many remember this, but he did put Kennedy over clean on RAW in a one-on-one.

After speaking with sources, WZ can confirm Brock Lesnar's signing of a WWE contract on WrestleMania 28 weekend drastically changed several WrestleMania match outcomes and character futures.

The Hell in a Cell match outcome and future was said to be changed quite a bit last minute. As WZ reported a few weeks ago, Triple H vs Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 29 was one of the top possible matches being discussed prior to WrestleMania 28, with the idea of announcing the match on the 4/2/12 episode of RAW. When Lesnar was signed, WWE decided to scrap the plans for the time being. They wanted Lesnar's return to be what ended RAW and a match being made between Triple H and HBK is something WWE felt would be so big, it should also end RAW. WWE then decided to hold off on that possible match because with the return of Lesnar, coupled with the belief that The Rock will be involved in next year's WrestleMania, WWE didn't want to pigeon hole themselves with a match between Triple H and Shawn Michaels for a year. Sources say the match hasn't been wiped off the table but conversation of it likely won't be revisited until WrestleMania 29 gets closer.

Another effect from Lesnar's signing was John Cena's future. It was expected that the newly debuted Lord Tensai would have his first feud with John Cena. Once Lesnar signed, WWE wanted Lesnar to start off his WWE return in a feud with John Cena so Lord Tensai is expected to work with CM Punk. Sources couldn't confirm what the outcome of The Rock vs John Cena match was to be prior to Lesnar's signing, but there is much speculation that Cena's loss was decided upon later during WrestleMania weekend to set up the anticipation of Cena's reaction the next night on RAW and hold the audience's attention for the end of RAW and Lesnar's return.

- As noted last week, TNA Impact Wrestling will air on Spike TV through October 2014 after TNA and Spike signed a new deal. The current deal was set to expire this October. A lot of people in TNA are relieved right now because the deal was signed and signed as early as it was.

One of the topics discussed in negotiations was UFC's Ultimate Fighter, which left Spike for FX as a part of UFC's big deal with FOX. Ultimate Fighter is only doing around 1.2 million viewers while TNA brings in around 1.7 million for Spike weekly, most of that being the coveted Males 18-34 demographic. The goal for TNA and Spike with the new deal is to bring the viewership up to 2 million per week.

The new contract is only for Impact Wrestling but if other TNA TV projects come up, Spike is interested in discussions. Another possibility is live Impact specials but there was no talk of those happening during negotiations.

The new contract also does not cover episodes of Impact being taped on the road but TNA and Spike are planning to hold more tapings outside of Orlando this year.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with a new blog on jrsbarbq.com. Here are some highlights from this entry:

- Many fans are still buzzing about the return of the enigma known as Brock Lesnar. Lesnar is a complex, dominating and driven athlete who made an immediate impact last week when he F5'ed John Cena without warning.

- The WWE Title picture certainly became even more interesting Monday night when reigning Champion @CMPunk found himself with a bull's eye on his chest not only from the challenge last week of Mark Henry but also from the renewed pursuit of Chris Jericho @IAmJericho, @TheRock who said that he would be WWE Champion again, @JohnCena who always has his sights set on the top prize in WWE plus Brock Lesnar who certainly feels that he is the alpha male in WWE but to validate such must be WWE Champion.

- After watching HIAC from WM28, challenging because I don't like listening to myself (I know...I could have muted the sound but my wife wanted to hear the commentary) I am hard pressed to name any match that was more better executed that what I saw between HHH and Undertaker. Their match stole the show, in my opinion, and was one of the best bouts that I ever had the honor of calling. The gutteral physicality was extraordinary.

I don't have a crystal ball but I'd be surpirsed to see HHH, @ShawnMichaels and the Undertaker, all together, ever being in the ring as participants at a WrestleMania or any other WWE event ever again. The final chapter of an amazing book was seemingly written and the book closed on Sunday in Miami.

- Speaking of FCW, keep an eye on Damien Sandow who debuted on Smackdown Friday night. He's bright, athletic and motivated. I fully expect him to be successful at the next level. I love his 'Lou Thesz-like' robe and towel combo. I have high expectations for Sandow who's got a solid work ethic and is a student of the game notwithstanding a well spoken individual.

- Matt Hardy says he and Reby Sky will not be appearing at the Extreme Reunion event on April 28th in Philadelphia. He wrote today:

"Just to set the record straight, @RebySky & I WILL NOT be at the ECW Reunion event on 4/28 in Philly. I'll be in the Chicago area on that day. Didn't want anyone to misinterpret my "I love Philly" tweet from yesterday. It should be a great event and I wish everyone involved in the absolute best. "

- WWE will be releasing new "WWWYKI" sunglasses for Zack Ryder soon.

- As noted before, WWE officials are planning to give a big push for "Ryback" Skip Sheffield on SmackDown. One of Ryback's biggest supporters is none other than Vince McMahon himself.

CM Punk is the #2 face in the WWE.

Also, Ryback getting a push. That will be derailed if he gets suspended for drugs.

Other than Angle, Mysterio, and Cena, I can't think of any clean jobs HBK did for younger guys after he came back in 2002.

He jobbed clean to Jericho during their last feud. I'm pretty sure he jobbed clean to Umaga and Lance Cade as well.

Michaels took the pin in DX's feud with Legacy. It was Triple that had the cheating done to him during that match so he could save face not Michaels.

Whoever is bringing up these ideas, even after Rock's return and what not should be found out and fired.

It's only been a week and was only a five minute segment and people are already complaining that he'll hate the traveling, that he lost all of his physique without even thinking that it was bound to happen since he's been sick for so long and that he won't play nice with anyone backstage. As long as he doesn't ****e himself like Batista then things will be fine.

Wow really? Seems like a pretty petty reason to FIRE someone. Especially considering that kind of stuff has gone on behind the scenes for decades. may as well fire EVERYBODy. What if Triple H is the one saying it? He's not going to get fired.

Despite me being fine with him being back Brock's dedication is a valid concern considering his past. The guy left WWE high and dry years ago after the push of a lifetime.

So Lord Tenasi gets to feud with Cena possibly first? NICE! This be a good way to put over his character, we all know Cena will go over though but if the feud is good I do not care.

That plan has changed and Tensai will feud with Punk. Cena is busy with Lesnar.

I remember he lost to Kennedy, but wasn't sure if it was clean or not. And I can't believe I forgot that Jeff beat him fair and square!

Holy crap I just saw Dean Ambrose's '' I dont want a posesion'' promo , best promo Ive seen in ages, those who havnt seen it must do themselves a fav and check it out. I would post it but there is some foul language.

I haven't seen A-Train's Japan work. Did he really get that much better?

too early

Give him a few months build up first of course.

I'm thinking the Jericho/Punk feud will last a bit longer, hopefully at least a month or two more. Meanwhile build up Tensai until late summer or fall.

Have you seen his promo from dragongate on Bryan Danielson?

Punk/Tensai

I agree. A few months down the line would be ideal. Let Punk and Jericho finish their feud, and maybe Henry and Punk after that. Tensai should beat several other guys on his way to the title.

Maybe an Orton/Tensai feud would be good for him.

Henry and punk is something i would love to see.

Whoever Tensai goes up against should in the end get beaten, and despite Orton winning at Smackdown, he did still just come off a bit of an upset at Wrestlemania. Having him lose to two monster heels in a row will bury him a bit, given that he's been away from the title picture for a while now.

Speaking of people who need dance partners, when are they going to do something with the Funkasaurus? He needs a full match!

WWE Divas Brie and Nikki Bella, seem to be on their way out of the company. The Bella Twins's WWE contracts are coming to an end in a few weeks, according to the Wrestling Observer, and they likely will not renew their deals.

American Icon Autographs president Sean Jacoby claims that the twins’ WWE contracts are set to expire on April 30th and they won’t be re-signing. He adds that he is currently handling their post-WWE bookings including the May 19th autograph session at Frank and Sons in California.

The Bellas have been with WWE since 2007 and made their television debuts in 2008.
