When an organism that "enhances aggression" takes over someone, I don't wanna see him dancing in the streets.
You dance-scene haters do understand that "aggression" does involve more than punching people in the face, right?

Kirsten Dunst and 70% of James Franco's performance was the only good to great parts about this sloppy film.
Kirsten's storyline and performance seem to come from a different film all together. She felt real.
With all this talk about camp, I thought I'd spread my insight.
**Everyone mutters** "Oh great, lets hear what batman11 has to say.
Anyways, hears what I think. With regards to the "camp" at the beginning of the film, I think that it was utilized well, and fit the whole idea of Peter being on top of the world, and everything is okay. For example, the scene with the kid saying "No Spider-Man." when he kissed Gwen was cute, and fit the early mood.
However, and this is a big however, it all shoulda stopped when teh symbiote took over Pete. When an organism that "enhances aggression" takes over someone, I don't wanna see him dancing in the streets. Yes, I understand what Raimi was trying to do, showing how Peter's attitude had drastically changed, but wasn't this movie supposed to be dark? I was expecting more scenes like when Pete was yelling at Ditcovich and his attitude while fighting the men in the club. I wanted to see an evil, dark Spidey, not an even quirkier Peter. But hey, thats just me, and I'm not saying the scene wasn't funny, its just that maybe have a similar scene in the beginning with Pete strutting around, showing how Spidey has gone to his head, and then when he gets the symbiote, have him become really menacing, thus creating even more reason for him to want to get rid of it.
Now having said that, it was one pretty weird, yet funny scene. Could've worked in a comedy flick IMO.![]()
Dunst had alot of moments to really shine, but never really capitalised. Grace on the other hand had very little scenes to flex his chops, but I think stole the show with what little he had
Actually, it should NEVER be Ultimate Venom
I'm pretty sure thats Venom, although I've always hated USM, so havn't read many. Why do we need another hulking monster, Venom is not supposed to be Hulk
Venom's not supposed to be a mindless beast, even under the influence of the symbiote he still has the mind of Brock.
If that beast who looks awfully like Venom is Spiderman, have you got a picture of Venom
Yet you posted a redundant and frankly stupid picture of a mock up of Saturday Night Fever, but you wont post a relevant picture of Venom?
You've done a great job of proving your point

Actually you've simply said the same thing as people have been saying on this thread since last week, you've added nothing to the discussion. Evidently you missed the point of the symbiote in the film, your just missing all the marks today arn't you.![]()
Least you agree

Yes, I do understand that. But "aggressively hitting on women in the streets"?
Look I never said I was a dance hater, as a matter of fact, I said and still think it was funny, its just that I feel the movie could've worked better by showing Pete's PHYSICAL aggression, as shown in the pictures he took. Don't get me wrong, I still liked the scene, just didn't like where it was placed (timeline wise).
Yeah, maybe that was unnecessary. One wtf moment I noticed is that apparently bullies exist in college.
