They are changing the costumes!!!!!!!

I was in a book store today and I came upon Wizard magazine. I saw it had some information about FF2, and I instantly opened it. I found out they still aren't saying who Galactus(or however the name is spelled) is being played by. I also read that some of the cast members are sighned up for FF3 if FF2 does well. They had a pic of Jessica Alba in a new costume it didn't have the 4 on it though it basically had the same colors. It was dark blue and gray. Also the Silver Surfer creates some tension between Sue and Reed, she brings out a different side of the Surfer(we don't know if its good or bad). I had to leave the store in a rush, so I could only read what I could.

Can someone post the whole article if possible.

SAD NEWS!!! The costumes were already really really good in the first movie.

I was under the impression that ALL of the core four had to sign a contract for two sequels when they signed up for the first film. That seemed pretty clear when the first one came out.

Galactus, whether it's the big purple guy or Gah Lak Tus, will likely be CGI.

I'm sure the photo you saw of Sue won't be the dominant costume. They'll keep the team in blue, they've got to!

I'm disappointed that they're changing Doom's look, however. That was the one thing about Doom that was perfect.

All four are obligated to a second and third film. Not sure about McMahon.

Well I think that's the first time I've ever heard that.

Seriously? Granted, I wasn't a regular when he was revealed on here, but damn, on the board I DO frequent - which has far fewer posters, admittedly - close to only a hundred - the reaction was almost unanimously "fantastic." I mean, c'mon. He looks like Doom in every way once he gets the metal mask and green cloak on. It's just that he doesn't really sound like Doom, or act like Doom, or have the right motivations for Doom, or uh... you get the idea.

The mask & the cloak, I can go along with that. But not the street clothes underneath, particularly the shoes.
I don't think they'll be changing the mask & cloak much, unless I've missed something.
Mainly I'm hoping for a more appropriate voice performance!
If ever there was an aspect of any movie that cried out for "updating" like Lucas did with the first Star Wars trilogy, it's Dr.Doom's embarrassing voice in FF1.
Wouldn't it be great if the upcoming FF1 Director's Cut totally revamped Doom's voice after his final transformation? We could all just forget that awful effeminate voice ever came out of that iron mask.
Like it was a very bad dream.

Story announced on his blog that Doom's look had been redesigned with a brand new mask and all-new armor.

all the recent interiews i'd read are saying that the 4 symbol is going to be all over the place, costumes, vehicles, building, etc...

Blame Marvel. Believe it or not, that outfit is actually canon. That was her costume for a while. The popular fanwank among us Internet geeks is usually "Uhhh, she was probably under control of Malice when she designed that?"

And yeah, I would assume Alba wouldn't wear anything like that anyway.

I hope this isn't true, because the costumes are fine the way they are and doesn't need to be changed at all. Leave them alone. There are plenty of other things that are very problematic with the F4 then their costumes. No time should be wasted on this rushed production in an area where it was one of the few things that worked well.
