THINK, now: Would Doomsday have killed the Batman?

LMAO. If you read it straight from left to right it reads. "Captain America! I command you to WANK. :woot: :woot: :woot: :cwink:

It's not about whether or not he could beat, whoever. It's the muscle headed response that gets me. Hulk Strongest one there is, and all that garbage. Truth is, anybody that takes a zealot point of view on anything is eff'n nuts. Batman fans are the same as Hulk fans, who are the same as Liberals, who are the same as conservatives. It's one big bunch of people who really need to get laid more often or less. Depending on the problem at hand.

But Hulk fans are worse because Hulk sucks. :o

Like my current sig says "A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject. Sir Winston Churchill"

let's bring doomsday over and have him kill this thread

So he examines Doomsday's DNA? So what? What would he discover? That he has DNA that's different from everyone else's? No ****.

That's what you believe Batman would have done with a sample of Doomsday DNA? Examined it in the Batcave and said, "Wow. That's different... Well, time for lunch."

It would have gone differently. Batman would have been a bloody stain on the pavement and Doomsday would still be alive.

You don't think the world's greatest detective would figure that out ahead of time? Wouldn't he have backed off? I know Supes didn't but maybe Batman would have.

And then what? There is no viable strategy in which Batman can take down Doomsday.

Maybe he would have called in Superman.

But Doomsday killed Superman. In Infinite Crisis, it took TWO Supermen to take him down.

What else could he have done with it?

so it's superman vs doomsday again, which would make this thread just redundant.:ninja:

Much as I love BW ... he would have gotten pummelled. No time for strategy or fancy armor. WHAM!

I finally get it. He is not Captain America ... He is "Captain Americaaaaa" (cue the fancy village people theme) :wow:

I don't know. I'm not Batman.

But seriously, I don't think Batman would have tried going hand to hand against Doomdsay. Can't you use DNA or a cell sample to engineer a disease, or a weapon? At least in the comics?

I just don't think Bats would put himself in a position to be killed like that. He might have even backed off. Maybe given up; maybe retreated. He's a survivor. And smart. He may have realized he wouldn't have a chance.

You can have Alfred randomly turn into a cross between Jack the Ripper and God and kick Doomsday in the ballss in the comics. It's still kind of ******ed, though. Besides, if Batman had a device that could kill or imobalize someone isntantly as long as you had a sample of their DNA, then he would have created one of the deadliest weapons in human history, and several outside forces, both government and otherwise, would be on his ass to get it. Also, I just don't think Bruce has the knowhow, or the elbow grease, to make a weapon like that. He's Batman. Not god.

Since I honestly never read this (though it seemed to be popular when it came out), can anyone tell me how powerful these Doomsday clones were in comparison to their original template when Batman did this?

As a disclaimer, I'm honestly not trying to incite more fire. I'm just wondering.

Not very powerful at all. Superman was able to kill about 20 of them in one go.

LOL this **** is still running, my head hurts when I read the title :(

So what is your freaking point? Do you think Bats can beat Doomsday or not? If the answer to that question is no, please get this thread closed.

in all fairness to mark, this thread's name is "THINK, now: Would Doomsday have killed the Batman?" not "THINK, not: "Would the Batman have beaten Doomsday?" so...

a) though batman is on bad mofo of a detective, he obviously wouldnt have know about doomsday before hand, if he had he probably would have had a hand in helping clark

b) though bruce does have a vast amount of intellect at his disposal, hes not a genetic engineer... there is a differance between radiating kryptonite to weaken it and speculate about what effect it may have and him geneticly engineering a virus or something...

ya, bats is a bad ass... ya with prep time he is hard to beat, but come on... hes smart, not a miracle worker

haha, that movie rocks...i would like to read the book thou

Would Doomsday have killed Batman? No. Annihilated or obliterated yes, merely killed no.
