*tries to read h8ter's brain*

Well, I'm still a slaving college student- but my writing's been taking off. Published a literary magazine that I worked on the editing/selection board for this last year...got 4 poems and a short story published.

Been enjoying life, solid relationship for almost a year now with a woman I feel I am destined to someday marry. Spending lots of time with my niece, turning her into a Batman addict. Just living well.

How have people received this magazine? How can one view it without teleporting over there? Your FB status make the love apparent. Very sweet. Hehe, Batman indoctrination.

Ummm, I suppose I can try to scan a good portion of it over the next few weeks- once the semester comes to an end, I'll have a hell of alot more free time. But 100 pages of a lit. magazine, front and back of paper, is alot to transfer online. I think we may have digital copies at the CAT department at my school. You can always just read some of my poetry in my 'notes' section of FB, though. :cwink:

Yes- I'm overly 'mush' with my status updates and affection shown towards my GF. She makes me a very happy man.

MY NIECE WILL BE A BATMAN CHARACTER NEXT HALLOWEEN!!! THIS EXCITES ME!!!(Idk if I want her to be Batgirl or Catwoman yet)

How has life been treating you, Lurkita?

and it is packed by Tom Cruise.

Good for you. It's great that everything is going well on your end, and that the relationship is solid. I'm also trying to turn my niece into a Batman addict as well. She's only three, so I have a lot of time to work with there.

How about you, dmg? How's the married life, how's my only fellow Jerseyan?
Everything has been going pretty well over here. Married life is great and I wouldn't have it any other way. We bought a dog, who at the moment has a slipped disc, but she's healing up.

Other than that I'm contemplating on what I want to do as a career, as opposed to running the restaurant business that I originally thought I wanted to do, but now I want to do something else to see if that really is what I want. One business venture came to light with a friend of mine that I might consider, but don't have the money to do it at the moment.

FYI. What would a new lounge be with out this!

I forget there is a note section.
Happy happy happy happy!
Hm, Batgirl. That way if JG manages to get his girl dressed up(likely Catwoman) I can get different doses of costume cuteness.Up to you, really.
Lurkita hehe. I want to say good. Some stuff could be going better, school work mostly, but life hasn't crashed into an iceberg...yet.

Well, my niece is the same age. I have already inspired a devoted love for 'Mask of the Phantasm', 'The Dark Knight', 'Batman Forever' and 'Batman & Robin' in her heart...as well as MANY Batman action figures. You're doing this world a service, my friend.

Yeah, sucks to hear about your dog- it's never a good thing for anyone you really care about to have health problems(even the canine kind). Hope she gets better, what'd you name her?

It's never an easy thing transitioning to another career. That's why I'm stuck at a proverbial fork in the road now before I graduate. I want to be an English teacher, but with the job market how it is in NJ for teachers due to the State's budget cuts for education, and the fact that my writing's really drawing me in and opening doors- I may want to venture into other choices. I think I may work for a magazine as an intern this next year, maybe try to get a good paying career being an editor and doing my own personal/freelance writing. Hopefully get my poetry respected enough to have a collection published and sell some copies. Hopefully be a strong enough writer to be hired by sites and publishing presses to write up things for them.

But good luck in your career venture- what's your passion? What are your options?

Oldest is 2 1/2 and the youngest is 2 months today.

So cute. It's definitely better they grow up closer in age. My nieces are 3 1/2 and 1 1/2, and the oldest likes to care for her younger sister.

Yeah my oldest is into it, but sometimes she likes to try too hard. Her sister isn't a doll and she doesn't always see it that way.
