Sounds great!Well, I'm still a slaving college student- but my writing's been taking off. Published a literary magazine that I worked on the editing/selection board for this last year...got 4 poems and a short story published.
Been enjoying life, solid relationship for almost a year now with a woman I feel I am destined to someday marry. Spending lots of time with my niece, turning her into a Batman addict. Just living well.
Yeah, I'm relegated to doing good work in lab but not being very invested in it. I'm happy coding instead. It's never an easy thing transitioning to another career. That's why I'm stuck at a proverbial fork in the road now before I graduate. I want to be an English teacher, but with the job market how it is in NJ for teachers due to the State's budget cuts for education, and the fact that my writing's really drawing me in and opening doors- I may want to venture into other choices. I think I may work for a magazine as an intern this next year, maybe try to get a good paying career being an editor and doing my own personal/freelance writing. Hopefully get my poetry respected enough to have a collection published and sell some copies. Hopefully be a strong enough writer to be hired by sites and publishing presses to write up things for them.
We'll see if this leads me anywhere.Speaking of which, I just finished the Whysoserious.com/steprightup page and OMG the cakes were so cute.
