Seriously...its disheartening to go into the riddler thread designed for character discussion, and there's simply fanboy casting choices...when there is already a different thread designated for it....while in some other random thread, someone throws in their medicore pitch for riddler when...it should be in the riddler character thread.

the main point is that alot of threads here seemingly devolve into the same exact thing...anyone else agree?

Actually I think this forum is one of the least cluttered. I know people must get frustrated to create a thread only to have it locked by a mod and search through 20 pages in a Riddler thread to find what they want. But if the mods weren't storm troopers there would be a useless thread created every 20.548 seconds.

I'm not blaming mods or anything like that, this is squarely on the posters, imo...for example, there is clearly one thread for riddler casting choices and another just discussing the character....so why are casting choics being made in both, while you're gonna end up showing everyone your riddler fan fic idea in the "could joker come back?" thread?

I agree with you, but its inevitable (sp?) with no news being released daily to discuss our discussions will regress to primal grunts and gestures and then we will begin to club each other.

PS: Yes, things get off topic and a bajillion threads are created, but if they leave the multitude of ones out there, then n00bies won't come in and re-do the same thread that was deleted 2 days before. Right now, these boards aren't all that hot, so it's ok to leave it a little dirty. I'd say by the end of the summer things will start clearing up.

And yet your post bumped this thread up...which, by the way is about repetitive topics...this t topic is not repetitive, so i dont see why people have a problem with this thread. Why post this in the threads im accusing just so it could be buried?

probably because your post will get lost in the shuffle and no one will notice. Also how is that selfish?

The Batman has a point, a lot of threads are basically clones of each other with slightly different names.

they arent needed.

im active on a message board the has a 1000 + members on it a hour every hour and they dont have meega billion threads and things work fine.

LOL true. I don't even bother wading through 40 pages in a thread anymore. I just click, read the last couple of replies, and if I'm in the mood make a post.
