A ton of praise on Twitter from people that saw the movie.

I'm done. This movie was awesome. Loved every minute of it. And yes Thor is the GOD OF THUNDER. The opening act and 3rd act were awesome. :hmr:

Stunning. So glad that Thor has such a quality film to his name. The first film always has my love but this one is just so perfect from start to finish.

I'm a huge Spidey fan and adore homecoming but putting that aside this is probably my favourite mcu film.

Fun, spectacle, humour and finally Thor confirming what an absolute powerhouse he is. Good God of Thunder. Epic.

Just came back from the cinema here in the UK.

You are in for a treat, guys! Have posted my non-spoiler short review in the proper thread, but wow.... The GOD OF THUNDER is upon us!

This is truly one of Marvel's best. Taika has created something special here.

You are in for a treat, guys! Thor is finally the GOD OF THUNDER! The power levels shown here finally do the character TRUE justice.

The humour was phenomenal. Everyone (and me) were laughing every 5 mins. And is not forced humour, it's simply awesome and perfectly timed humour throughout.

The 3rd act is amazing. Didn't expect such major things to happen.

Hela was a bit wasted, but is one of the better Marvel villains. Ruffalo was hilarious and so much fun to watch (both in human and Hulk form).

And guys.... Wait for THAT 1st mid-credit scene!

It was such a tease. :hmr:

For people who have seen it, how many people were in your viewings? My first one today was surprisingly busy for 10am on a weekday morning. I know it's half term but it seemed to be mostly adults with a few kids. Second one this evening at 8pm was packed, and it was a Cineworld 'Superscreen' too, bigger screen and a bigger theatre. There were a few empty seats at the very front but the rest of the theatre was full. Large age range, some families with kids right up to a couple next to me that seemed to be in their 50's. Good showing all round.

Not many at mine, maybe 20 people. But it's at a cinema in the middle of a shopping centre that is barely open at that time. I did like that not a single soul left before the very end after all the credits.

I have an enormous crush on Care Planchette. She's beautiful good lord. :hrt:

She was utterly the right choice to play Hela. We need to see her again!

If we don't see Hela again I'll never forgive Marvel. Well... I probably will, but I'll be really really mad about it. :oldrazz:

*sigh* She's just :ilv:

I just got back from seeing it...here's a spoiler-free take...

Thor makes more jokes, and was probably more fun to play, but is inconsistent with how he's portrayed in the other films. It will be hard to take him seriously from now on, as he treats everything in Ragnarok as a joke.

IMO, we've already seen Thor being a lovable buffoon in TDW and AoU... he's just more unfettered here.

People are starting to spoil Ragnarok in the Avengers: Infinity War thread now, so just to give you guys a heads up you might want to stay away from these forums for a while if you don't want any major spoilers. I mean some may not know any better, but I'm not going to lie I'm still kind of pissed off.

All you lucky Brits. :csad:

Did anybody here not like it so far? Besides the one guy who thought Thor was too humourous.

You have every right to be pissed off at that. Hopefully the moderators deal with it appropriately. At the core it's about respecting other people.

I get to Ragnarok the cinema tonight. :hehe:

Anyone at Marvel watching the film will be hypnotised into making her comeback happen. :yay:
