It comes out here in India on Nov 3rd as well. Which really doesn't make sense, as piracy is rampant over here and Marvel only stands to lose a chunk of the audience by releasing it a week after some other countries. There used to be a time back during Avengers when we got it first, but not anymore.

How does it stack up to Thor's Frost Giant battle in Thor 1 and the opening action scene of Avengers 2?

It's definitely a step up from everything Thor has done in the MCU (apart from what he does later in this film ). I'd wager a lot of money on that you're going to absolutely love Thor's power level in this.

Just finished watching the film. Lots of things I would have done differently, but I enjoyed a lot of it.
Doubt I'll be watching a Waititi film because of this one.

Loved all the serious moments, some of the humour (very little tbh). Thor and Hulk were mostly great. Valkyrie too, as was Loki, again when the humour was toned down.

Didn't like Korg at all.

I guess I'm not a Waitit film fan.. Enjoyed it but didn't love it, don't have much of a desire to watch it again soon.

Well, the Thor moments, definitely. The rest not so much.

My kids seem to feel similar to me, maybe a little happier. My Wife loved it.

It's way better in so many levels. I mean that Frost Giant battle was cool but this is another level of cool.

Fun fact, that actually isn't a live performance of the song

It is from the same concert but there actually isn't footage of them performing that song. That clip is a mashup of Bonham's drum solo from Moby Dick, Stairway to Heaven, Rock and Roll, and others.

The audio though, IS from the concert, live album called How the West Was Won in 1972. Best live concert by thr band.

Crazy how young they were here. Bonham, Plant, and Jones were all like 24 years old. Jimmie Page was like 30 lol

I don't think it will be used. I feel like the Russos will bring that darker and grittier feel to the film (like they did in TWS and CW) and it won't have any energetic songs or stuff like that in it.

Okay and I'm going to be filled with rage like I said, also Civil War and Winter Soldier had several light hearted moments nowhere near as gritty as people seem to think.
