I guess we'll have to wait until November to see how many other people we might recognize are on Sakaar. I hope that Hercules is among them. That would make for a good easter egg for a future appearance. He could also appear in the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Whilst that may be the case, it doesn't rule out the Collector having a cameo in Ragnarok. I could totally see that art being for a Ragnarok mid/post credits scene to establish that the Grandmaster and the Collector have a connection prior to IW.

From the numbering of these concept art posters it looks like 100 we're made. Here is number 31/100 which seems to have a better quality. I would really appreciate if this were the actual poster for the movie. It's great.

That concept art is glorious. I'd love to see an animated Drew Struzan style poster like that (it totally fits with Ragnarok's 80's aesthetic) but I think they'd want to show Hela/Cate Blanchett's face on the actual poster.

Exactly. I don't see them having The Collector and The Grandmaster featured in a image like that and miss the opportunity to have them interact with each other. I do think they have a scene together in the movie.

And no-one related to the production has said that "The Collector isn't in this movie". Not that i have any knowledge of...

Bill's hammer and a possible Sub-Mariner nod are among the objects mixed in with familiar MCU elements on the new attraction.

...including a big nod to Thor character Beta Ray Bill.

...inside the collection of Taneleer Tivan.

One that stood out in a big way? Beta Ray Bill's hammer. No, it's not specifically given the name Stormbreaker in its display case, but the so-called "Asgardian War Hammer" is clearly the same hammer Bill -- the alien who proved to be worthy of lifting Thor's hammer Mjolnir in the comics, and was rewarded with his own hammer by Odin as a result -- has wielded.

Reads the description for the hammer: "Originated in the dwarves forge on Nidavellir, this finely crafted object is made of the powerful stone, Uru." The description essentially confirms the hammer is Stormbreaker, as it matches the origin of Beta Ray Bill's hammer in the comics.

I saw it some days ago and also thought - that is Stormbreaker!!

I am looking forward to a Thor/Beta Ray Bill movie like what Walt Simonson wrote...
That was just amazing - also characterwise...

And as much as i like to see BRB (in "Thor: Ragnarök"), maybe it would be better to show him in a separat movie....

or...

it could also work within "Infinity War", with Thanos destroying his race... as a small cameo... leading to a Thor/BRB movie...

I went to see GotG2 and got to see the Thor trailer on the big screen including the last jedi.

I was more excited to see the Thor teaser than TLJ. Lols

I found a "mine" of spicy details about the movie. A foreign youtube channel has been dropping a lot of tidbits about a set visit they made for Thor Ragnarok. They described a few scenes/sets/characters… and said they had very high expectations form what they saw in the set visit.

- Hulk is the dominant persona. He is afraid of Banner and enjoys the attention being given to him in Sakaar.
- Concept art with The Grandmaster and the “Broker” from Guardians of the Galaxy with both being at the “Broker shop”. Thought to be related with the gems or some other important artifact. 1
- Many asgardians taking a ship out of Asgard.
- The part where Loki is in Asgard flipping daggers is on a real set with natural lighting.
- Heimdall is acting solo in that forest shot from the trailer.

Other side notes also from the same channel.

- Loki has an arc in the movie. As soon as he takes Odin’s place in the throne he faces difficulties in honouring several deals Odin made with other realms in order to keep the peace in Asgard. After reaching his ultimate goal and failing in ruling he begins a self discovery journey between the dichotomy of being good and evil.
- What happens in Sakaar is going in parallel with what is happening in Asgard.
- Loki is gonna join the heroes in order to try and repair the chaos.
- Sutur being “10 times bigger” than the Balrog from The Lord of the Rings. Hulk with armour jumping at him. 2

Wouldn't surprise me. Benicio del Toro went back to film a video for the GOTG ride at Disney so that makes it all the more possible that he could show up somewhere in Ragnarok.
